Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

I agree, and enclosing the Swirling Saucers with AC and immersive effects swirling planets and all, it could have been spectacular for just a spinner... A real Disney-fied version rather than just painted and plastic-y looking...meh.

Yeah, it was a big let down. Very bare. Terrible. I really tried to give the land the benefit of the doubt when it was announced but they just can't seem to spend the money to do it right. Because they know most will accept it and love it and praise it (the casuals, not us or the bloggers who are equally unimpressed and critical). And there could have been several scenes on the coaster. There's a large 'drawing' of the coaster in the load/unload that shows various scenes. Why not go all out??

Like the Guardians coaster. The actual coaster itself is probably going to be fairly unremarkable but because it's a coaster (and Guardians) it will be a massive hit. Again, I'm sure the pre-shows/extended queues will be nicely done but they really do take the lazy way out so often.

So much more needs to be done or happening with Epcot and especially Hollywood Studios.

Me neither!

But aren't Tron and possibly/maybe a Night Parade the only things the MK is getting? I guess the Tomorrowland "refresh" and Stitch replacement and updates to COP and PeopleMover ... but to me they're long overdue and should have already happened.

Imagine if they built a new attraction in Frontierland, Tomorrowland AND Adventureland for the 50th. (All three lands, and the park itself, could vastly benefit from three high capacity dark rides - coasters aren't always the answer)

Tron's not enough and wasn't the right first step, especially in terms of capacity, which the park desperately needs. Really dumb to cut the theater (though I know some weren't for it)

Nope.

Assuming there’s still money.

That's good to know Martin. Thanks as always. But I'll keep my expectations low. They disappoint more than not. They like to move around budgets or cancel things.

Tomorrowland refresh including Tron and Stitch, updates to COP and Peoplemover ... kind of hard to believe they'll actually give us another attraction on top of that. Is the plan still some sort of theater-esque building anywhere?

It’s a refresh / overlay of several existing attractions.

Even though I'll probably go for the 50th, I still firmly believe that a lot of us might be a little bit disappointed given that the expectations are so high. I don't know how much hope I have for anything happening to Dinoland before the 50th.

I believe your statement also applies to WDW in general. ;)

Certainly true. All of the parks need more rides, particularly good E tickets and dark rides, DAK is not even close to alone in that or even close to the worst at it. And yes MK is in need of attractions as well. You can only use the other parks to draw the crowds away so much, but at the end of the day, there are very few people coming to WDW and not going to MK. As long as MK has the castle it will be the biggest by far.

A lot of people refer the Magic Kingdom as “ Disney World “ and don’t realize all 40 miles is considered Walt Disney World Resort.
