Rumor Is Dreamfinder, the roving M&G, coming back to Epcot soon?

Easy! Don't direct your disgust at me. Nothing's ever dead.

I’m just being realistic. If they cut the high tech meet and greet for the most recognized flagship character (maybe in the world), they’re not gonna double down on a home grown IP and a vague character that hasn’t been seen in the parks in decades.

It's hardly cutting edge tech. RF-controlled puppeteering can be bought off the shelf for chump change. What I suggested and Talking Mickey are two very different things.

Can we please burn the imagination pavilion down to the ground and stop pretending that figment is relevant or anyone even gives a crap about the original attraction or the current one? Honestly, outside of the WdW nerd and dinosaurs on this site, no one about it.

Awesome shorts, dude...

Coincidentally...that year was also my one and only memory of seeing the dreamfinder...

That pavilion was electric then...just great from all angles. No sadder development (due to lack of development) has occurred than the decay of imagination. Technology changes...but imagination never really does. It's sad. I don't know the backstory (though I know I should)...but I have to think the demise of Kodak has contributed to the sorry state of the pavilion more than we know.

I don't think there's much of a reason to bring the meet and greet back without a pavilion tie in.

Hopefully the blue sky ideas for imagination come to pass sooner than later. I hope it doesn't get the universe of energy treatment.

Having meetable Dreamfinder would be a pretty easy to pull of special event for the 50th. I wonder how easy it would be to redo JUST the projection/screens in the ride to replace Eric Idle with him too. Seems like a cheap way to get fans excited and add something special for the anniversary of the resort.
