So the possibility of a storm tonight kept everyone away from the parks and resorts for the last few days?
It explains why wait times when down this late afternoon leading up to the 4th of July fireworks.

I never said it wasn't crowded in the past few months.

But thanks for taking the works possible read of what I posted and filled in some blanks I never said.

Yep…last week 500,000 were all booked in a fabulous luxury Disney resort…
World class pampering

But then they heard there might be the thunderstorms in Florida today…something rare for Florida in July…and canceled.

Thats definitely not why at DHS, it was low all day, and has been for more than just today
Average wait midday at DHS was 25 min. It's now 15.

I was responding to the unusually low wait times that was happening this past hour. Which was lower than earlier today and lower than the past few months.

The worst part is Disney execs will use this as an excuse not to build. Just not enough money. Let’s ignore that they didn’t build with record crowds.

It definitely was not that long actual times. Even posted times, runnaway was 15 when we walked on, so was aerosmith. Millenium was 10. Rise was 40, but we were on under 15. Star Wars land had no lines for anything. Flight of passage was 25 minutes around 2 today (we debated hopping over). We walked onto safari and everest yesterday (think posted waits were 15 and 20). Saturday no booth at epcot was longer than 3 people all night. It's not just the storms making those times look bad. I cringed at the thought of being down here this week for months.

Disney: "We are experiencing record high crowds! This cant just be environmental/cultural conditions, the guests must LOVE us... See? We don't need to build any new attractions and people will still come!"

Also Disney: "We are experiencing record low crowds... clearly it's just the economy and nothing we did... we need to tighten our belt and cut spending on any new attractions."

Veliciocoaster is at 55 min now, kong at 70, mummy at 75.
Universal is weird, though.

Wait times often fluctuate for individual attractions wildly throughout the day.

Velocicoaster and Hagrids are normally high but everything else can go up and down like a yo-yo. Last hour is always golden hour, though. Absolute best time of the day to be in either park if you want to knock a few attractions out with almost everything, with the wait time being about as long as it takes to walk the length of the queue to get to boarding*... Hagrids and Velocicoaster not withstanding.

*I'd just have said walk-on but a lot of them, like Forbidden Journey actually have pretty long unavoidable ques even when empty so it's more like a 5-10 minute walk than a 10 minute wait.
