Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

Wait times at HWS and DAK are crazy.

ToT is showing as 13 minutes. I'm not sure I've ever seen that actually posted at ToT before..

MMRR is at 10.

TSM 15.

Maybe they closed reservations at MK to try and push people into the other parks, because reservations for HWS and DAK were so bad. Not because MK was anything like close to capacity?

I know people want to see the fireworks. But, it should be busy in all the parks today.
It is also storming right now.

I wonder how much the temps have something to do with crowds. Just saw someone mention that something registered 110 in the parks.

Well also we know that a few days back Magic Kingdom was sold out on July 4th for all types of tickets. And yet here we are...

So I guess they really are still putting a cap on park attendance.

Additionally since people who are planning on going have a reservation they don't need to get up first thing in the morning and spend an entire day in the heat of the theme park to ensure that they're able to see the fireworks from inside the park tonight.

I'd be interested to see reports of how busy the park is this evening. And if that plays out, or even if it doesn't, I wonder how much revenue Disney lost on food sales and merchandise sales because they didn't just let people come to the park until it was filled to its actual capacity rather than this self-inflicted population/ capacity limit they have placed on themselves.

I've gone for a long time (mainly when I lived down there in the early 2000s, but before and and after as well) and this week so far is literally the emptiest I've ever seen the parks (and not just for a holiday). Animal kingdom and Hollywood studios haven't even been half day parks.

Good for you

And attendance problems is good for all of us…

…except for employees. Bad for them and I never root for that

Honestly wouldn't be here if the kids weren't at camps here this week. Then we ended up taking the younger one for a few days to give him something to do (and because living colour was playing epcot), and here we are. Disgustingly hot and sweaty, but the least planning and least miserable we've been on years here.
