If you had 11 full days in the World. What would you do? IOA? Universal? Sea World? Aquatica? Golf? Water parks? Sleep in/rest/lazy days?

Have fun!

I would not leave property if staying on property. I would absolutely take a few relaxing days and sit by the pool &/or resort hop. 11 days is a good amount of time, so I wouldn't feel rushed around the parks. We did 10 days for honeymoon and it was perfect.

Perfect question!

I was at "the world" (solo) for 11 days back in December (1-12) and had a BLAST.

My 1st day was travel-day so I just checked into my resort (Pop), went to wally-world for supplies and RELAXED.

Day 2 & 3 were spent at US/IOA/City Walk

Days 4-11 were spent TAKING MY TIME at all 4 parks & Downtown Disney - it was SO RELAXING!!!!

Nice!

(EPCOT Explorer: We'd be in Epcot almost everyday, even after day off property :) )

I'm torn between staying on property the whole time, and venturing to IOA (Harry Potter in 2010) with DS, who has only been off property to Sea World in 2007.

Anyone else??

We stay 9-10 days and it isn't enough so if we stayed 11 I would still only do WDW. If I ever did go to Universal all I would be doing is worrying about a wasted day that I could have been at the World. Since you can only get a 10 day ticket though I guess we would do a waterpark the 11th day since the kids are always asking to go. Other wise going strong at the parks all day everyday! :D

If you haven't been to US/IOA for a while - go :) I had a great time and the crowds were non-existent. I always get a rental car so venturing off property during my stay is never an issue.

I also 'won' the free US/IOA passes from the Superbowl promotion so I'll be heading over to US/IOA either in March, May or November - haven't decided yet

Uni-what? Sea-who? I have stayed for 14 days several times and did not leave the Disney property for anything but church and snacks. We alternated between the four parks, DTD, and the pool. We scheduled well in advance according to hours and events. Long live Disney fanaticism!

I would prob spend some time in a park or two a day (I am a chronic park hopper), but I would go about it at a very leisurely pace. I am usually there for 9-10 days, so this is kind of what my normal plan is. I take time to explore the details, swim, relax, and enjoy everything I am doing.

Not old, just vintage.
If I had 11 days I would spend one day in Sea World and one day at Universal/IOA. I haven't done either park in about 10 years. However, even on those days I probably would still land in a Disney park or DTD at night. I would spend one morning at TL or BB and then spend the rest of that day visiting other resorts. That same day I would probably just pop into one of the parks for the nighttime show. The remainder of the trip would be spent in Disney doing anything and everything I could possibly want to.

Excellent answers, so far!

I would prefer to stay on Disney property the entire time, too. However, we may not get back to Florida for a while after 2010.

Mine, so far, looks something like this, which is why I posed the scenario ... it doesn't look/feel right:

Day 1: Arrival day, late afternoon, pool and DTD.
Day 2: Disney parks
Day 3: Disney parks
Day 4: Sleep in/Typhoon Lagoon or resort pool/Disney park evening
Day 5: IOA/Disney in evening
Day 6: Sea World/Disney in evening
Day 7: Sleep in/Blizzard Beach/Boardwalk evening
Day 8: Disney parks
Day 9: Disney parks
Day 10: Kennedy Space Center(?)
Day 11: Disney parks
Day 12: Departure day, late afternoon, pool and resort

We'd stay offsite and all the 11 days would be spent in Disney Parks. 3 days on, 1 day off (Downtown Disney Marketplace), Walmart, etc. Most days would include Epcot even if just for a few hours. A few days for Magic Kingdom, but always ending at Epcot. On days we went to Hollywood Studios we'd also go to Animal Kingdom. We normally stay for 8 days when we visit and find its the perfect amount of time.

Heading for the great escape.
Last few years we have had 17.

Start off at Universal for a few days then head to Disney. This years provisional plan is.

1. Arrive
2. MK
3.Epcot
4. AK
5. DHS
6. MK then move to Universal
7.IOA
8.USF
9.IOA
10. Sea World
11.Epcot
12.Busch Gardens
13. AK
14. DHS
15.Epcot
16.MK
17. DHS, then home over night.

should have said moving t Universal mid break to avoid the worst of the crowds and make the most of Express pass

11 days? hmmmmmmm. I would say 9 of them would be spent at Disney, and 2 would be standing in crazy long lines at IOA and US.....Of course, I love the Spiderman ride, so I would wait.

For Disney, I would make sure to resort hop and actually spend time looking around and walking some trails.

During any visit to WDW I never leave the property. I have stayed numerous times for 14 days and every day is spent in the parks- or at the hotel lounging by the pool for the day- or in DTD shopping. I couldn't even imagine going somewhere else, b/c if I did, I would be mad b/c I could be spending that time in WDW instead!

In my present situation, were I to go today, I probably would stay onsite only (we have a 7-month old). When Slapparina gets a little older, I'm hoping there will be at least a few years where we'll get annual passes for both WDW AND Uni, and then take 2 long trips (probably late August/early September one year, mid-August the following year) and then one or two shorter trips in the middle (probably Jersey week, maybe Easter, too - Slappette's a teacher so we can only go when school's out). I'd probably stagger the purchase or the first-time usage of the passes for each conglomerate, so if we're still in Orlando when one ticket expires, we still have the other. Be really thorough throughout those parks, and get in Sea World and maybe Busch or Kennedy Space Center.
