I'm sick of these stupid reputation points!

Oh well, I'd had a couple grey dots, so I'm sure I had a red dot coming! :fork: :lol: :fork: :lol:

Well, since I've gotten one of each already, I think the gray dots have nothing to do with the red ones. Once I got my first red one , I also got a gray one and my points didn't go up or down. So, if you got a gray dot, it's probably from someone who is new (or has a bad rep) and they can't affect you positively or negatively. Once it turns red though, then ooooh :lol:.

Yeah, I went crazy yesterday "spreading love" like there was no tomorrow. Finally it said I had given too many points in a 24 hour period. Guess that was the computer's way of telling me I was a points ________ giving it out to anybody. :lol:

Just click the little "scale" symbol at the top right corner of the post.

(It's between the dot indicating that you're logged in, and the "report this post to moderator" triangle. ) If you click on it, a drop down will appear asking if you agree or disagree with the poster. There's also a space for comments, which is where you can put your identity, etc...if you choose.

I was going to help you out, but I need to spread some love around before giving it to you again :lol:. Don't worry about the negative points. It's not a big deal as long as there really is nothing wrong with your posts. Some people are just negative rep happy I guess :lol:.

Whoa that's weird. Since Steve updated the forum software, the avatars are on the top left directly above our posts (did that make sense :lol: ?) and the scale is on the top right above our posts right next to the post # and the report bad post icon. Oh well :lol:

^^ Avatar placement is a user preference. You can change it by going to your user control panel. You can choose to have avatars on the top of posts or the left of posts.

Currently, mine are set to the left (easier for me to read)

I think I may have confused you because since I did not know about this before, then I didn't phrase things right. If I understand it right, my avatars are on TOP and the scale icon too, next to the post # and "report bad post" icon. I tried putting it on the left, and when you do it like that, everything is on the left: avatar, scales and everything. Sorry for the confusion :lol:.

:lol: I've said it before but I'll say it again. I prefer that we all ourselves with the little green boxes than give out a bunch of red boxes for no reason at all. Spread the love, spread the love :lol:

And on that note, I have no idea how, but I got to 3 boxes. I assure you, not all of it was based on freebies :lol:. I did earn some points ...really, I did!! Thanks everyone for giving me points .
