hey guys! I know it's been a while but I've just been extremely busy for the past weeks, anyway, I might have some time to come up with new art for my plans soon, at the mean time I've been toyinh around with bunch of new attractions for the parks. "The Universe of Energy = Garbage Mountain" - a white knuckle thrill ride that would be WDW's biggest and baddest robotic arm roller coaster, centered upon a fuel refinement facility of the future that turns garbage into energy. "Fashion Avenue" - A new area at the Disney-MGM Studios that celebrates the high stakes culture of Fashion, ruled by the queen of the red carpet herself, Edna Mode. There would be wonderful, and colorful new shows and attractions located within this art deco world. "Cars" - a massive dark ride the size of the Indy Speedway, that completely re-tells the story of the Pixar classic.that's just some of them but I promise the next time I come back I'm going to have sketches of the attractions along with some art for "Lost" Island and DAK's 2nd gate which is now modeled after the original Long Beach DisneySea.

Good to see that school hasn't ripped you to shreds and worn your bones for a hat! Have you caught up on the Haunted Mansion Attic news or the JII rehab rumors going around? Can't wait to see what else you have in mind...

hey guys, I got a job recently so i won't be able to update as much as I thought I would this summer.

Anyway, I think i've already mentioned this part of the plan but I want to see what you guys think of it.

I'm planning to diving WDW into 5 Different zones:
The Disneyland area - Consisting of Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon along with all the resorts surrounding it, its main focus will be the Fantasy parks of The Magic Kingdom and Port Disney

E.P.C.O.T. Center - Divided into 3 main parts, the Walt Disney University which is an educational institution, Walt Disney Imagineering Florida the HQ of all Imagineering projects for WDW, and EPCOT the theme park.

The Walt Disney Studios Florida - This site includes Disney-MGM Studios which is now a full working studio as well as a theme park, It will also be home to The Walt Disney Memorial Museum, as well as Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios, Florida which will produce traditionally animated movies along with The WED Institute of the Arts which wil educate and mold aspiring artists.

Disney's Wild Kingdom - comprising the 2 Wildlife oriented theme parks, Disney's Animal Kindom and Florida DisneySea

Downtown Disney - the expanded shopping, dining and entertainment center for the entire resort.

hey guys! i have a couple of new attraction ideas for the parks:

The Magic Kingdom and Port Disney
=Tinker Bell's Festival Of Lights=
-A brand new event that takes the Disney Fairies on their yearly ritual of bringing lights to the night sky across the Magic Kingdom and Port Disney. The events include 2 grand new stage shows that involve the Disney Fairies actually flying above the guests over teh castle hub and Mediterranean harbour as the fairies prepare to bring light to the world. Each of the Disney fairies take over a "land" and a "port" which they will decorate with their magic, breathing new life to these areas.
-This all culminates into a dazzling new Fireworks extravaganza covering both theme parks simulataneously, with no sky on top unlit.
- is going to be a huge event that encompasses 2 Parks in the resort, which takes the magical atmosphere of teh Osborne Spectacle of Lights from Disney-MGM and spreads it around the beautiful world of MK and Port Disney..

EPCOT
=Imagination!=
- a new daytime lagoon show where Figment and the DreamFinder celebrate the beauty adn legacy of man's imagination and creativity utilizing colorful barges, gigantic baloons, large, colorful kites, colored smoke, and energetic music that brings to life the history of art and beauty.
-incorporating more than 200 performers in, around and above World Showcase Lagoon, this new show will be one of the grandest ever staged in WDW celebrating the harmony and legacy of art and imagination around the world.

Disney-MGM Studios
Cars! -It's tour day in Radiator Springs and everyone must have a guest ride inside them so they can show them around the natural wonders of this charming town.
-a brand new re-imagineering of the classic Autopia, this new ride will bring to life the entire world of the Disney-Pixar movie and it will take you along for the entire ride.
-Guests will board the many characters of the movie, from racer Lightning McQueen to loveable towtruck Mater, They whisk guests away into a first hand tour of Radiator Springs and the wonders of Route 66 in this massive Dark ride.
-Depending on the character you board, the ride will encoutner various show scenes straight out of the movie. The cars themselves will be narrating the various scenes you speed through, the cars would also itneract with the other cars in the process.

Star Wars: The Galactic Archives - The home of two massive dark rides that is a journey through the most imporant events of the Star Wars universe. This ride will become the MGM equivalent of The Pirates of the Caribbean ride in MK and will feature a huge amount of AA's and special effects, this will also utilize a ride system similar to the old Universe of Energy. guests are able to choose between two important wars in the Galaxy's history:

The Galactic Civil War- We are intorduced by C3PO and R2D2 as we are shown a history lesson about how the New Republic was formed and what starts out as seemingly just another movie, the screens part and our setas go forward as we take tour through the events of "A New Hope", "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi".

The Clone Wars - Even further back in time is the epic clone wars where Chancelor Palpatine managed to manipulate both the Republic and Separatist to go to war against each other all the while eliminating the ancient order of the Jedi. be witness to all the events that transpired during the Clone Wars from "Attack of the Clones" to "Revenge of the Sith".

MAGIC KINGDOME

- I will prolly add a faster roller coaster than Space M. i was thinking maybe on Fantasyland, a new rollercoaster with all of disneys villans in their hideout, and you in the rollercoaster with each train representing each of disneys fav. characters like mickey, pluto etc.. so you start in a quest to destroy all evil and when things are going bad, the rollercoaster gets stringer, but ofcourse at the end, you help "the disney character" to save the day.

EPCOT

- well first i would update some of the rides..but i heard they are already doing that so..ok..:sohappy: another thing i would add is more countries in the world showcase part, some south american, cariebean, australian, central american, to show more culture....
another thing, in one of the first entries some1 said a thing about a new parade/show iluminations: one world, showing important events that changed and made the world what it is today, i think that would be very amazing, and very suitable for a park like EPCOT.

another thing i would add.. is perhaps to start building the real EPCOT dream Walt D. had, a futuristic city, in another place of the free land they have at WDW, and built the original idea why Walt first bought the land here on florida. and in here, maybe the Disney Co. could build like the Disney University of Arts (just a thought of the name) and be specialised in arts and teach the pople how to be a true artist, and also train people on becoming the best Disneys imagineers ever. (but its jsut a thought, cause its a huge thing to do:p)

and besides that...maybe add monorail service to all parks, and important hotels.

I like that idea. I hope they do decide to do a "Cars" themed attraction.

thanks Tigger and Suzie :)

for The Magic Kingdom, I'm considering moving Fantasmic! to a secret stadium connected to Frontierland via a narrow cannal that lets the Liberty Belle and the Santa Maria to pass through. anyway, here is a bare bones preview of a tentative new version of Fantasmic!

Fantasmic!
-Guests must board the afternoon train from the Fantasyland station in order to see a sneek peak into the wonders of Mickey Mouse's imagination
-The new show will be located at a special stadium that is accesible only via the WDW Railroad.
-The show will inculde brand new musical sequences featuring the characters from Tarzan, Aladdin, the Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
-There will brand new effects including an actual tinker bell that will spread pixie dust across the stadium.

-a full show rundown along with concept art will come soon...

I like the idea for the fantasmic show and everything, but hate to bust your bubble, that thing where you can only get there by train will cause some HUGE crowd problems. Think how bad it would be before and after the show. But if it wont for that it would be a great idea.

StitchCastle, I agree with manutdfan1. The train idea would cause crowd problems.

SOLUTIONS:
- Make multiple trains carry passengers.
- Have one or two other means of transportation that aren't available during normal park operation.

However, I do like the other ideas. I had thought of using the Pirates of the Caribbean as a segment in Fantasmic long ago...when I was working on a resort. Who knows how long ago that was. lol

Keep up the amazing work! :D

thanks for the feedback guys! Don't worry, there would indeed be multiple trains to carry passengers and guests won't exit via the train but instead they will be emptied out through Frontierland, letting the next set of viewers for the 2nd show in through the train system in Fantaslyand.

To further aleviate this problem, Fantasmic! will be joined simultaneously by performances of Cinderellabration: Lights of Romance and a special Aerial Puppet show featuring Stitch in Tomorrowland.

Meanwhile guests who are waiting in line for Fantasmic! will be treated to encore performances of "the Festival of Fools"

Cinderellabration and Fantasmic! both end simultaneously (sharing the fireworks in the end) and as the F! crowds exit through Frontierland and are scattered across the park, The Cinderellabration crowds will be encouraged to head through the castle and into Fantaslyand for the Festival of Fools and later on, the next showing of Fantasmic!

it will be much like a cycle of night entertainment where guests would start off from Cinderellabration in front of the castle, Festival of Fools inside Fantasyland, Fantasmic! in Frontierland via the Fantasyland Trainstation, and then back to the hub for Wishes.

while guests will be able to take full advantage of the new indoor arcades in mainstreet and the new pathway from Adventureland to get around the park while the large crowds are kept by the ongoing nightly entertainment.

Another new exit/entrance to/from MK is by taking the Electric Railway in Mainstreet's eastern Arcade that takes guests all the way to Port Disney.

If it's al too complicated, which it kinda does seem like it :D, there's always the Hub version of Fantasmic!...

Stitchcastle,
Your ideas are great! It's been alot of fun reading what would happen if you took controll. I also think your pictures are really awesome too, and was wondering if you could post every picture you've drawn for your park so far, along with the title of the attraction/show?

Thanks Alot!

thanks comics101, I'll make a post with all the ideas with sketches when i have time, but right now I just need to say that I might be moving Fantasmic! for a 3rd time into Port Disney's Mediterannean harbor (360 degree version with "transforming" barges that transform the entire lagoon from an entire African jungle to the farther reaches of Space, to the world under the sea, new fountains, new show scenes...) and bring back a new light parade into the Magic Kingdom.

StitchMountain - Some ideas

I love what you have to say about improving WDW. Unlike the Parisian parks, those of WDW's rides tend to be a little less "thrilling," leaving teenagers wanting more (possibly explaining the surge in Universal's Islands of Adventure ticket sales). That's exactly why I like your idea about a proposed "Geyser Mountain".

For an area to consider, why not think about what you would do about the current shuttle buses from the parking lots to the park entrance. I say this because, upon my visit to WDW just last week, I found these long grey buses boring and banal for a Disney park, and lacking the magic of the alternative at Disneyland Resort Paris. At Paris, the lane central to the parking lots for the shuttle buses was replaced by a large covered walkway with conveyorbelts beneath it (a similar concept to Univeral's parking system, only without the multi-storey). This may sound boring, but the sheltered walkway's "funkadelic" decoration makes it pleasing to look at. To mount excitement in guests, at the parks' opening and closing times, entertainers line the sides of the walkway - jugglers, people on stilts, actors, magicians, dansers etc. This, combined with the disney music, makes people feel unbelievably excited; I frequently see families running in order to reach the park entrance, spured on by the entertainment, and by the enchanting image of Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (or Cinderella's Castle in WDW) which dominates the skyline. This also gets rid of the tediously long waits for the shuttle buses when the parks close. I really think that you should consider this!

Great work btw - I've just finished reading "Imagineering" and you are definately imagineer material! P.S If you haven't already been to euroDisney - GO!!!

Thanks, keep up the good work StitchMountain :sohappy:

I forgot to say, possibly some improvement on the Magic Kingdom could be introduced, not just in the form of ride, but also in the form of general beautification. For example, the Magic Kingdom's European counterpart has two large arcade walkways for the guests, as pictured below. Here guests can shop and dine, and there is an added treat for the European market in the form of a Chocolate Café, serving thick hot cocoa (it's just melted chocolate really - I'm sure), and chocolate gâteaux and cookies. Although this exact idea may not work in the USA, a version should be considered in my opinion because they provide a cultured and classy relief from the crowds and the heat of the summer time in Paris (something which is even more important in the Floridian heat!!). It's hard to explain the differences between the Paris and Florida parks. Given that they are newer than those in Florida, the designers obviously improved upon the parks and rides, and they also payed particular attention into introducing a cultural flair to the resort after it was called a "Cultural Chynobyl" by the European press (these French extras can be seen by the design of the castle, which is also pictured below). For more info on the resort, I've found the perfect website: http://www.themeparkreview.com/europe2005/disneylandparis/disneylandparis1.htm
or why not visit the official website:
http://www.disneylandparis.com/uk/introduction.htm?c=int&l=uk (I really think it'd be good to look at the improvements that the Disney designers thought were necessary to make to the concepts before building them at Paris. Also, the Tarzan show at Paris would be good for you to look at).
