I think I'm starting to regret booking.

Any idea when it is due to come back up? We arrive 5/27.

I thought so too, but @derelicte19 said above that it is now going DOWN on 5/22. My son will be very disappointed if that is correct.

Per the Disneyland map, Space is actually scheduled to go down 5/12. Indy opens back up on 5/8 and there is no indication Pirates is going down but I have read on other sites that it is. Not indicated on the DL map as of now though....

Thank you for sharing and please continue to share the updates. I guess I won't allow myself to feel the ups and downs of all these closings given how often they appear to change. I'll wait until shortly before our trip before allowing myself to be disappointed ;-) (I only say that half-jokingly because although I WILL be disappointed by what is closed, I am still psyched as can be to finally visit Disneyland!)

Thanks again to all the regulars at this forum who gave us great advice for our first Disneyland visit; after 15 WDW visits. A six hour flight from Long Island to LAX, but well worth it. Would of liked to ride Finding Nemo subs, but all the other closed rides are the same ones we've done multiple times in Florida (Splash Mtn., Big Thunder) so no major disappointment for us. We did the "Walk in Walt's Footsteps", which was a real pleasure for us East Coast people. But planning our trip was a little difficult because of the way they keep moving around the closure dates. Late January in California is sure nicer than being here on Long Island!

Oh man...this is getting into 'slightly concerned' territory now for me.
A LOT is currently listed as being closed while i am in town late April/early May now.
The shifts were originally in my favor, now...not so much, at all.
Probably the most recent change is IJA, which originally was slated to re-open from the refurb a few days into my next visit.
I was stoked to be able to be there for the re-open and see it pristine.

Oh well...

No worries, but i find the new updated list a eyebrow raiser.
It still will not 'ruin' the visit however...as i practically lived in the IJA Attraction when last i was in town.

I'm surpised they wouldn't do all these refurbs in January -march in time for spring break crowds instead of closing everything in the spring?!? Seems weird...

It's because of Big Thunder and Splash Mountain, which are both down right now (Mansion had a refurb in January too). If Pirates and/or Indy were down while Thunder and Splash were down, that would kill half a park's worth of E-Tickets at one time. I find it hard to believe some of this couldn't wait till fall though.

I wish I was in California right now instead of in this snow again on Long Island today!
And yes, I reiterate the thanks to all the regulars on this forum for helping me plan our family's first trip to Disneyland.

I can not recall a more voltile refurb list in recent memory... not for so many attractions in the mix. I guess Michael C. is making lots of friends as the DLR prez... :/

As a Californian who grew up on Long Island, I know you will have an amazing time here!!!
