Trip Report I Succeeded Last Time, So….

…Here I Go Again!!

We had an uneventful flight & we’re on our way!!

Something eventful just happened, though. Someone in our party(guess who) just realized they forgot their magic band!!

Back at the Pittsburgh airport when I noticed they were both wearing Pirate hats. Go Bucs!!

We had a 6:45 dinner reservation(wanted to schedule it a bit later so we weren’t rushed) but since we’re making good time I pushed it up a bit!!

We’ll be there soon!! Hope to have you follow along!!

The heat really does affect how much park time you can endure! Glad you got to enjoy a few attractions at DHS and our favorite Baseline Tap House! The chairs in the Beach Club lobby are quite unusual . Hope you get to enjoy the parks early on Monday before heading back to the resort!

Well, I got this!!

Problem is we’re not planning on going to MK until later bc we’re going to go to the pool for a bit first. Hopefully they’ll still take us when we get there!
After I told R that I got it he said he doesn’t think he’s going on bc he doesn’t like the seats.
I’m not thrilled about coming back to the same weather I’ll be leaving!!

Yesterday was a great day!! I think those chairs are totally obnoxious!!
We’re going to MK later as opposed to earlier bc we have a dining reservation that way & don’t want to travel back & forth!!

J & I spent some time at Stormalong Bay this morning. E was going to join us but had to work. R just wasn’t feeling it. We went around the lazy river multiple times then J decided we should swim around it-like 4 times. That was one heck of a workout!!

We had a fun morning!!

While I got ready some people decided to play ball in the house.

Arrived here about 2 hours ago!!

We mobile ordered lunch as soon as we arrived. R requested CHH.

Afterwards E, J & I went to see if we could come back later for our boarding group bc our friend is still enroute.

R went to COP while we did that & rode The Peoplemover.

We joined him for another showing.

It’s that time of day!!

When she saw the picture of Rob playing ball in the house, she said "wait! Is that the principal"?

Loving your MK day!! There is nothing like a nap on COP which I don't believe I have ever done but Den and all 3 children have definitely snored away.

I want to know about Tron!!

I'm not a big fan of storm along bay because it always has a chaotic feel to it but I do like the sandy bottom area! We used to always eat at CHH when we had the dining plan but since we don't get it anymore, we hardly ever eat there. We always enjoyed sitting on the second-floor people watching the guests below. It's so easy to fall asleep at COP on a hot day although if J is reciting the storyline, it does keep you entertained enough to stay awake!

After COP we took another spin on The Peoplemover so R could go on.

We stopped & the lights came on for a bit but unfortunately no evac for us!

We went under the sea next. R swears he has never been on this ride. I know he’s wrong. He asked me for photographic proof that he has been. I am not going through a million Disney pictures to prove I’m right. I’ll just let him win this argument…for now.

Our friend had arrived on property. He hasn’t been to a Disney park since the late 90’s. R & I took a boat to WL to see about adding him to our reservation(he wasn’t supposed to arrive until tomorrow originally.) R was happy to be getting out of the heat. E & J stayed at MK a bit longer then took a bus to WL. Our friend took an Uber to meet up with us.

R & I stopped to get something to drink since Artist Point didn’t open until 4. It was then that we ran into our friends @Tuvalu & @TrolleyFollower91!! We had planned to meet up later this week but it was a nice surprise to see them today!! Although, I have no photographic evidence(ahem, @Tuvalu)

While I asked about adding our friend to the reservation R went into Territory Lounge for a drink.

Yay!! We’re all together now!!

We were seated right on time.

Cute little touch!!

The shared appetizers came out right away. We all enjoyed them!!

We actually got another order of the Hunter’s Pie & shrimp cocktail.

J’s appetizer plate. Isn’t this the cutest??!!

I loved the presentation!!

E & I both got The Enchanted Apple. It was so good!!

Before our entrees came out Snow White made her rounds!

Then our entrees came out. Wow, just wow!! They were so darn good!! We all loved the food.

I debated between the Beef Stroganoff & the Prime Rib. Our server told me to go with the Prime Rib. It was excellent but better than that was the horseradish mashed potatoes. So, so good!!

R got salmon.

As did J.

As did our friend, S.

All 3 said it was great!!

E got the pork shank-something else recommended by our server.

Dopey & Grumpy came by for a visit.

Then it was our turn to see The Evil Queen. She was quite entertaining! She said she thought E was the evil one but then realized it was actually me!!

Dessert time!!

Seriously, I can’t say enough about this!! Beautiful atmosphere, fun character interactions & amazing food & drinks!! This was our first time here & I don’t know why we waited so long!! I was glad that this was our friends first experience of the trip bc it definitely started it out on a great note for him!!

We browsed the store then took a boat back to MK.

We immediately made sure to get a picture in front of the castle with our friend.

We headed to Tron, minus R(back/kidney stone issues). He ended up taking 2 more spins on COP-if you’re counting that’s 4 times for today!

We waited in line about 30 minutes which wasn’t too bad. And S loved it!!

After we got off I called R to see where he was. No answer, return call or text so we hopped on The Peoplemover. That’s 3X for me today!!

It rained pretty good for about 20 minutes. After the rain the humidity felt pretty much unbearable.

R had never received my phone call but we happened to spy him while we were cruising around Tomorrowland.
We had all had enough of today’s heat/humidity that we decided it was time to go!

We got back and went to Beaches & Cream To Go again. I went with sherbet this time. I’m not a huge ice cream fan & yesterday’s was enough for me for awhile!!

Tomorrow is an Epcot day. So far it looks like it is going to pour quite a bit of the day so who knows, plans may change. We’ll see!!
