I got my first pin code!

Sorry, but I just have to share my excitement! I've been waiting for years to get one of the elusive pin codes... finally!
And what's even funnier is that today I was posting and complaining about the fact that I've never received one of these and I've signed up for everything imaginable! Maybe they're watching us!?!:lookaroun

Anyways, for those of you out there who are still hoping to get pins one of these days... you just never know!

I was just coming to post the same thing! Don't give up folks! I receieved my 1st ever PIN at midnight! I'll be setting my alarm now so I'll be up bright and early. Even tho it's a Saturday, it's worth it! :wave:

Congrats to both of you!

It's nearly impossible to figure out how they decide who gets them. I'm sure they have a way - Disney has a reputation for being methodical if nothing else.

I got my first one this year, and believe it or not, there were several better deals available that did not require a PIN code. KK helped me out with this and did a good job.

So, make sure that you check, either by poking around yourself directly on the official web site, or by consulting one of the KK agents, or by checking on one of the travel web sites like expedia. There are so many deals out there that you never know.

In any case, good luck to you both. And if you do plan a trip, make sure to have a magical time!

i also got my first pin code this year but its for a time of the year that i can't go! :cry: bummer. 40% off the room is too good to pass up but i have to which makes me sad.

Just got back from a weekend away and I got one, too! Great timing since I'm trying to plan our next trip so maybe I can actually use this one. This is the third time I've gotten one and have never been able to use it before.

via email. However, I have been know to call Disney to see if one is "attached" to my reservation, which has happened to my sister in the past. Kind of an out of the blue surprise! You must catch it at the right time, and don't ask me what that is...LOL Because if it isn't used, you lose it.

I just got one the other day for 40% off. Surprisingly enough, it was for the same time as when Im going in January. I decided not to use it though, because I was getting a better deal with my CM holiday discount.

About 2 years ago I started complaining that I never got one....and they've been pouring in ever since! Seriously, I get them ALL the time- but never for dates when we can go :hammer:
I think Disney is monitoring me, and watching to see when I'm planning my next trip- then sending me offers for every single time of the year except for then! :p

I got one today too.

30% for Value Resorts
35% for Moderate
40% for Deluxe

Of course they are for "most dates" January-June 2010

My brother and I went to Disney just about 3 weeks ago on a 40% pin code that I received last spring, so I'm pumped.

Now, can I possibly swing another trip by June? (when the code runs out)

What does it say in the subject line when you get the email? Sometimes I don't read all of them. I know it's bad.
