I got that for Christmas along with a card to download games from the Wii shopping channel. I got Pokemon Snap (always loved that game) and Super MarioWorld. :king:

Dana, check ebay for the Jillian workout, many people were disappointed with it and there were a ton there just before Christmas; not sure if I want to get one or not.

Isn't there a Denise Austin one too?

BTW, Why do I want to use an older styled controller on a new system that bases it's existence on the new controller?

I too have the Classic Controller (still in the plastic I might add) because I don't want to use it. Why not just play GameCube? Anywho, aside from that...running around just trying to knock the other player off of the level seems pretty redundant to me. (It's more "lets see what happens when I mash all of these buttons really fast" and not as much "skill.")

Because all the best Games on the Wii are old games from the Gamecube.

Yay Dana!!!! We have Smash Bros., Mario Party 8, Carnival Games Mini-Golf, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics (haven't played that much yet), Mario Kart, and a few others. We lucked out w/ our Wii Fit, bought it at Toys R Us last October for about $90. You will absolutely love all of it! :sohappy::sohappy:

We have the MarioKart (which seems to be the game EVERYBODY loves  ) and some others that I don't think you'd be interested in (AVOID COOKING MAMA AT ALL COSTS :lookaroun ) But I think the Wii music is really fun. :) Maggie may even be able to do something with that one.

Oooooh! Wii Music! How is it? What do you do? What makes it so fun? I'm really interested in it but I can't really get the "jist" of it.

We got both Wii and Wii fit for Christmas. And we've been extremely addicted. And I'm surprisingly liking Wii fit alot. Mostly the balance games like the skiing, and tight rope walking games.

I got my Wii a while back, just happened into Best Buy on the day they got a shipment in and I was there when the store opened, so there were several on the floor.

I have a bunch of games for it, but the ones we've played most often are MarioKart(anyone want to send me their friend code so maybe I can actually race with friends?), Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and a recent addition to our game library of Nights: Journey of Dreams. Nights is a lot of fun. The story mode is only single player and once you get used to the controls, is a blast. There's a two player race mode you can unlock new levels for by completing them in story mode as well. We have a bunch of other games, but for family gaming those are the ones we generally play together.

Pokemon Snap... Wow, that brings back memories. What a great N64 game.

Dana! Super Mario for the Wii is also really fun, in my opinion. Mario can do some CRAZY things in that game. It's not as good as Super Mario 64, but it's still really fun.

Hey Dana---get Animal Crossing with the Wii Speak so my daughters and I could have someone to talk to!!!!:ROFLOL:

I was just about to mention Animal Crossing: City Folk!

Marcus bought that one (sans Wii Speak) for Christmas and we're both addicted! That's another game that Maggie might enjoy because of the cute animal characters and fun activities.:D

Unfortunately we don't know anybody else who plays so we don't have any friends yet.:(

:ROFLOL: I'll admit it -- I think Cooking Mama is hilarious, but it is difficult to play on the Wii.

My favorite Wii games are WarioWare: Smooth Moves (did anyone have WarioWare: Twisted for the SP? That game was awesome) Mario Party 8, and if you're looking for a "real" game, Super Paper Mario was incredible.
Wow, I never realized how much I love Mario...

Oh and Wii Fit is super fun, but it's hard if a St Bernard is trying to get in your face while you do the floor exercises

I've used my Wii Fit for two days now, and I'm really enjoying it so far.

My only complaint is that my personal trainer is too nice! I picked the female, hoping she would be like Jillian from The Biggest Loser, but she keeps telling me what a great job I'm doing!:(

Well, I'm not sure if it holds appeal for adults besides myself :lookaroun but basically you "play" the instruments with your remote and sometimes the nunchuk as well. My favorite is to play handbell songs with Leah, because when she screws up my Mii gives hers a dirty look LMAO :lookaroun
