More CBR prep pics. LOTS of zip ties. Lounge chairs are stacked and zipptied. Benches at Bus stop ziptied together. Maintenance has been putting "fishnets" on all the lamp posts... No one told me there was a dress code for this storm! Off to MK now will share anything interesting. Thank you to everyone who responded to my last post regarding the ME issues will keep that in mind should we need it!

Major kudos for Disney's decision! As much as we talk about "nickel and dimeing, #thanksShanghai, and corporate greed" I am extremely impressed they called for these closures today. I am thinking of all those that will be affected! Hurricane sandy did major damage to NJ, but it's nothing like Irma and I will be hoping the best for all those in its path. Stay safe, stay strong, all us Disney lovers have to stick together!

PS... is it evil to wish the only damage would be to Expedition Everest so they are forced to fix the yeti? I kid, I kid!!!!

Anyone see a problem with planning a trip for 9/15, next Friday? Seems it should have blown through by then and barring any damages, maybe good to go?

I just checked the app and everything seems fine. My fastpasses and dinners are still there, maybe it was just a glitch?

yeah i would think you're good to go anytime after monday really. could be tough getting to orlando tuesday, but after that, should be fine.

I hope everything is still good for Tuesday. Our flight is still on but I guess we'll see how everything goes over the weekend.
But yeah, any time after Monday should be fine.

I wonder how much the areas that are currently under construction - SW Land, toy story land will be delayed because of this storm
Hm, speaking of that I wonder what, if any, will fly off because of the storm. You can secure things all you want, but if it the wind wants to take it it'll take it.

If anyone still heading north out of FL, my contacts say rooms still available in Pensacola.

My sons live in Gulf Breeze and they said that things were hectic earlier in the week but now that they are completely out of the projected path things are back to normal, looks to be a good place to evac to

My trip is already planned for arrival 9/16. I guess so I have until 9/12 to decide to cancel. It will have blown through by then.
