There are still people in Key West: a guy on a bike right in front the webcam. I wonder why they're not leaving.
Edit: of course he left the second I posted this haha.
Good luck! From the Swolphin today (Thursday):

It's safe at Disney during a hurricane, they say. You'll have fun, they say. No problems, they say...
Anyway, my flight out of MCO on Frontier is at 6 PM this Friday. That's the flight I was always leaving on. Two days ago, I checked to see if Frontier had any openings on earlier flights, but they didn't, so, I'm sticking with the plan. Part of the plan is getting to the airport 4 hours early since MCO TSA is notoriously slow and understaffed and the terminal shuttle is currently at half capacity and am expecting a madhouse. Not to mention if there will be heavy traffic.
I would stay in Tallahassee if you are not in a flood zone. If you are, J-ville is the last place you want to go, head farther west. Maybee plan for breakfast at Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans.Currently trying to decide if I should stay in Tallahassee or head over to Jacksonville. These shifts west do not look good for us at all.
And it seems they're charging for the privilege, since they point out that their toll system is compatible with SunPass...But only in Georgia...
As of right now, I'm still planning on flying down the evening of the 20th. Fingers crossed, that will still be the case. We're supposed to come down the evening of sept 14. I was optimistic it would be fine, then when I saw the size (even with the eye over the Atlantic) I was cautiously optimistic. As it's continued to shift westward, I've become cautiously pessimistic I really hope FL is ok -- not for my trip; just, bottom line, ok.
I would not go east. You might want to consider heading northwest to Montgomery or Birmingham.Currently trying to decide if I should stay in Tallahassee or head over to Jacksonville. These shifts west do not look good for us at all.
So fingers crossed it moves back east?I only referenced models at the time. Apparently they were west, moved east, and have moved back west.
Cross your fingers. So fingers crossed it moves back east?
I think, at this point, the anticipation is the worst part. I feel like Floridians have been on high alert all week and have had no choice but to sit back and watch what is potentially coming for them. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.I just spoke with Duke Energy and power outrages are expected Sunday night through Tuesday in Orlando (if not longer).
The cone is expected to reach Orlando at 2am Sunday and plow through the area as a category 2 or 3. I am beyond nervous. But idk what else to do. I'm prepared im just ready for it to be over.
CM just said waiting for 2pm update but likely closing parks early Saturday and stay closed Sunday Monday
I'm glad that Disney is putting their safety over the concern for profits.I wonder if they're doing this more for the employees' benefit, so the ones who need to can get prepared.

Its that and safety, there is no way anyone should be out on Sunday or Monday. The storm will ramp up mid-day Sunday into Monday morning. I'd expect the parks to be closed Tuesday as well, or limited parks, depending on when it pulls away and how much time they have to to start restoring things and damage levels. I can see the wood construction walls at the studios sailing around and crashing into things..
Any idea what Disney will do about food once the parks are shut down? One our members said WL will be serving at AP for one credit for those there
