As right now (currently) the parks are operating normally. This is not incorrect.

Parks are still open today as normal. As right now (currently) the parks are operating normally. This is not incorrect. Unless I am mistaken and they have closed this afternoon.
Universal website has the same language on it right now. They'll all be updated soon. It's likely being prepped for a scheduled release of the changes across all platforms at a specified time.As right now (currently) the parks are operating normally. This is not incorrect. Some people go out of their way to try any fault they can.Universal website has the same language on it right now. They'll all be updated soon. It's likely being prepped for a scheduled release of the changes across all platforms at a specified time.
would take a catastrophic infrastructure failure for them to close the airport for that long. Your bigger concern should be your carrier's schedule if it will recover by then.Airport closed until Friday morning. Any guesses if that will get expanded? Supposed to fly in Sunday
Yep there will be a lot of aircraft and crew out of position.would take a catastrophic infrastructure failure for them to close the airport for that long. Your bigger concern should be your carrier's schedule if it will recover by then.
They still haven't updated their page.

Could be perfect timing. Typically it takes 8-12 hours for this process to complete then a few more hours to get itself going again. It might run out of time before completing the ERC, which would be great news.It may weaken for a while then come back worse than beforeEyewall replacement cycle - Wikipedia

I don't think they have made any public announcement yet. The notice so far has been to cast.Yesss... but.... It's also the page that announces future closings, like which resorts will be closing "due to the weather." Which it already has.
If WDW is announcing publicly thru other channels that it will be closing Wed & Thu, then that should be on their guest-facing update page.
That page is not a "right now" page. It's a weather update page. WDW is updating news channels, but not their guests.
Ah, I wondered where these Tweets were getting their info from.I don't think they have made any public announcement yet. The notice so far has been to cast.
It's quite unusual that there is such a gap between the cast announcement and public announcement. Typically, these things are announced simultaneously.I don't think they have made any public announcement yet. The notice so far has been to cast.
Agree, seems slightly odd. It's quite unusual that there is such a gap between the cast announcement and public announcement. Typically, these things are announced simultaneously.
