Unless the state implements the one way evacuation plan for highways in the area: I-4, I-75, the Turnpike - those roads can become parking lots. UNLESS ordered to evacuate, the best plan is to shelter in place.
They said on the news there are no plans to because it makes it harder for emergency crews to get into the areas when they do that but they are considering opening emergency lanes on both sides to traffic.

Don't forget about the tornado threat with this hurricane either. The eastern side of the storm usually has the tornado spinups, which could also effect the Orlando area.

If you have cable or fiber voip phone service your connection depends on having electricity for your modem or ONT. Fewer and fewer people are being served by Copper POTS analog phone, which sourced its "power" from the telephone company Central Office.
I specifically said no to VOIP when it was offered - still old school same type of line I had 40 years ago. ;)

I’m not sure if this was mentioned yet but SeaWorld, Aquatica, and Discovery Cove will be closed tomorrow and Thursday.
And it’s possible Disney and Universal will follow suit.

Probably 99%…but the management sucks

They are “hoping” they get lucky and don’t have to give compensation. They’re wrong

Also, appears that Howl-O-Scream is cancelled for Thursday at SeaWorld.

Yeah not sure why WDW hasn’t confirmed tomorrow’s plans yet. Is there even a chance to keep the park open to 2pm anymore? This really sucks. Hope everybody finds comfort through this dreadful hurricane and recovers asap.
