I must say, this is the best Disney event I have ever been to.

Kansas was the band at The American Gardens this weekend....they were quite good too.

Awww...Cirque du Soleil! Did you sample the wines? That sounds like great fun!

Have I ever told you how unfair it is of you to be able to go to these events all the time?

And where else can a team finish their season UNDER .500 and still make the postseaon??

You make some very sound arguments, but I had to chime in here: If the strike hadn't bailed out baseball in '94, the Texas Rangers were well on their way to a sub-.500 berth in the AL playoffs, so it can happen on both sides.

Since she was only 6 at the time, I doubt she remembers.
We went to the last game of the year in Yankee Staduim...

Believe me, I don't profess to know what I'm talking about here, ever. As a matter of fact, I'm rarely ever right. I understand that this could easily happen in the AL, I'm just amazed that it happens at all.

Nah, that was a good post. I agree with you about the NL thing on some level, not so much because of DH's fielding, but because watching pitchers hit is just painful.

Then the other side of me likes the "purity" of how they do it in the NL, sooo...basically, I have no opinion, I guess. :D
