How will Universal's Epic Universe effect Disney?

Yep, Nintendo absolutely does, which is why they were a good get for Universal. They're probably the best option period for theme parks in the video game realm.

There may be fluctuation in the attention and numbers video games get.

But there is no better option for the daily operation of pleasing the entire family with a video game property than Nintendo.

Far more people watch Family Guy than Mickey Mouse, but I don't want to take my family to spend a day in a Family Guy Land over what Disney has to offer.

Mario will sell far more and connect with far more than Sunset Blvd, Muppets and MMRR, which for those paying attention, is more than half of DHS.

Agreed. There is no other brand even close to Nintendo's tier. Nintendo might as well sit on Tier A and everyone else starts at Tier C.

I'm not expecting every video game to be utilized, but Nintendo themselves have a lot of games that could be translated into games.

What people love about Super Mario is the ability to connect coins, and interact with characters... the land itself offers those opportunities. I do think it's a miss that Mario Kart doesn't have a "fast" section, but it also needed to feature an interactive element like it currently has.

If one of the sequel or spin offs of Illumination's Mario Movie is Luigi's Mansion, we could have another fun dark ride along with the other Nintendo potential.

Unfortunately what they will copy is the variability of ticketing options built into this park. By segmenting the lands they can extract as much money as your wallet and desire for experiences can bear. If you only have a little money they will sell you a taste.....

This is what they wanted to do with Galaxy’s Edge.

Observation is the truth. Nintendo has more popular interest as a whole than Aerosmith or The Twilight Zone. IT does not mean that others do not enjoy the others, but globally Nintendo owns those ten times over. It does not even mean the theme park attractions of Nintendo are better, but as an Intellectual Property. Nintendo is the currently. Not saying anything about the quality of what the theme park attractions comparison. The property itself.

You saying it is an opinion does not change the fact. Nor does now adding "merely" to it.


More Ikea meatballs have been sold than Beatles Albums. That is a fact. Even if it was not true it is also a statement.

Pretty sure they dropped the concept of each land being individually priced/packaged. (If they do, shame on Universal for following Disney in making a visit much more difficult to plan.)

That was a rumored idea for the central Hub, but they realized it was not feasible and people spend more money without that concept.

It is a fact that Nintendo makes more money than Twilight Zone makes for CBS. That is a statement. Not an opinion. It could be a wrong statement(it is not) but it is never an opinion. It is not that Twilight Zone is not popular still, but currently, Nintendo is far popular.

Remember a statement is something that can be proven or disproven. It is not even had to be true to be a statement.
