How did you find WDWMAGIC?

I was getting excited about my May, 2004 trip... and I don't know if I was looking up information or what, but I found WDWMagic, and didn't even open up the forums section for months after that... although I did pay for a pass to get big picture and see the video.... I don't remember exactly what it was specifically that I plopped the money down for... maybe it was 20K or something.

But anyways... I ended up joining the forums a couple of months later when Charley hit... as I was in Florida at the time. I just hadn't been interested in joining any more online forums as I had already been a member of a Cardinals forum.

And yay... now thanks to this forum I found out about the LJ WDW community!!

It was mentioned in the 2001 edition of The Unofficial Guide

I, too, found it in the Unofficial Guide. I've been hooked ever since. But I didn't join in the fun till this past September. I don't now, nor have I ever belonged to any other on-line forum. I never thought it was something I would want to do. Until now. This site is not only full of helpful information, it is run with the utmost class! No crap tolerated here! I feel safe here sharing experiences and views. This site fills the empty void that follows me home after every trip to WDW and helps make planning each new trip even more enjoyable. Lastly, I already feel like I've made new friends here. Crazies like me who share my passion for all things Disney - I love them all!

Thanks Steve!

Basically I found it while searching for hotel discounts and ticket prices. I too read the forums for about 5 or 6 months before I actually joined in, and now I'm hooked. Thanks Steve!

Wow...so long ago...but I think it was Google or Yahoo...it was definitely a search engine. I remember looking for "Disney Trivia" and it popped up :)

I found it through a search engine, probably google because it's the one I use most often. I was missing the mouse and looking for WDW sites and downloads. This site popped up and reeled me in. I've been hooked ever since. Thanks for the great site! (The day after I found the site, I couldn't wait to get off work so I could come home and explore my new discovery.)

Seeing as how it's the site's birthday and I noticed someone in another thread talking about how they recently found the site, thought it would be a good time to bump this back up.
