How California theme parks will enforce out-of-state visitors ban - OCR/SCNG

For those from out of state, this restriction ends June 15 as the tier system retires. The travel advisory could theoretically remain (although the mention of only international conventioneers needing to be vaccinated suggests it might not), but there would be no theme park restriction, so you would need to meet any travel advisory with the same rigor as currently expected.

The only thing that might catch them up is that Disney is major news story. Blogger will be first to post clickbait articles that no ID was asked and it will hit the mainstream and get attention from the state. Hopefully nothing will change since it should just be for 2 weeks.

Can you imagine the time it will take to clear the Esplanade both parks Open at the same time. Guest will rush to be there at opening because of limited hours and paying full price tickets . Ticket CMs asking for a ticket, QR code, maybe ID and taking a picture to link to ticket.

The Blueprint was indeed quietly updated to state fully vaccinated people (or tested for younger? “Tested” is written as the heading above) from out-of-state can attend all activities and events. This should include theme parks.

This provides every park operator considerable cover as they continue to not check for residency. They can say they assume the person is vaccinated or tested negative, since that is the policy.

Annoyingly, my vaccine card is slightly too big for my lanyard.
They state a pic on your smartphone suffices.

Just one of these will do:

▪ Vaccination card (which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered);

▪ A photo of a vaccination card as a separate document;

▪ A photo of your vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device;

▪ Documentation of vaccination from a health care provider.

Or a copy.of a negative test within 72 hours of your visit.

They stopped taking pictures even before the shutdown.
