Sorry, misread. I thought they were talking about letting out of staters in for some reason.
Ah, right.Sorry, misread. I thought they were talking about letting out of staters in for some reason.
I also made park reservations. I think they will be checking photo ID though, so I will probably be out. I do have a VAX card though. It’s easier to vote in CA than go to DL. LOLDid you just buy tickets or did you also make reservations?
I am pretty sure Disney will NOT be checking ID's. The state doesn't require it. Just check a box at registration.I also made park reservations. I think they will be checking photo ID though, so I will probably be out. I do have a VAX card though. It’s easier to vote in CA than go to DL. LOL
Someone on Disboards (ugh...) claimed they randomly checked at USH.I am pretty sure Disney will NOT be checking ID's. The state doesn't require it. Just check a box at registration.
>>In-state visitors only. Information will be prominently placed on all communications, including the Reservation and Ticketing systems, to ensure guests are aware of Reservation and Ticketing Requirements. At the time a guest makes a park reservation and purchases park tickets, the park operators must obtain an attestation that when visiting the park, the guest’s party size will not contain more than 3 households and the guest, and all members of the guest’s party will be in-state visitors.<<
SeaWorld San Diego is now operating as a theme park with rides, indoor and outdoor animal exhibits, and outdoor live animal presentations with physically-distanced seating. Per state COVID-19 restrictions, attendance is limited to California in-state visitors, and now out-of-state visitors will be required to show proof of a completed COVID-19 vaccine or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of their park visit (required for guests 3 & up). Guests may also be asked to present proof of residency upon entry. Party sizes may not contain more than 3 households. To adhere to capacity guidelines, and for the health and safety of our animals, employees and guests, reservations and proper face coverings are required to enter the park.
While there is mention elsewhere (website not fully updated), Universal Studios has scrubbed mention of CA-resident restrictions from their banner:

Yep. Changes under way. Will be curious to see how long it takes Disney to do the same. They have park capacity to spare, and they don’t have to worry about getting mobbed. Only big-time fans will deal with the testing/vaccine requirement, however long it lasts. If you go to their ticket page it still says "California Resident 1 day" and "California Resident - Universal Express"
We'll see how long that lasts.

“Have you heard the good news about park hoppers getting you into Disneyland after just 4 hours at California Adventure?!”"We don't care if you're vaccinated or not, just PLEASE, ANYBODY come to California Adventure!"
It's 2001 all over again, lol.
Disneyland was already seeing attendance from people out of state prior to the pandemic. Why do you guys think a lot of out of state people will suddenly come to Disneyland when they could have gone to Disney world this whole time?
Because CA isn’t FL. I’d like variety. I’ve been to WDW during Covid. Europe isn’t an option. CA is something new.Why do you guys think a lot of out of state people will suddenly come to Disneyland when they could have gone to Disney world this whole time?
