I've lowkey been thinking of the "re-imagined" attraction ever since it was announced. Any thoughts on what this might be? I have a feeling that it's just the new rendition of Mickeys Philharmagic they're brining over here..
That’s just a new scene being added to the show and barely requires much budget investment to the point they would specifically draw mention to it

In my eyes it’s either a new overlay for space or them ripping out the wonderous book to make a ride but I don’t know if that counts as “reimagining”

The list of attractions that are in a position to he reimagined is rather short at the moment considering all but jungle cruise, Astro orbiter, Pooh, the carousel, dumbo, teacups and space are barely 10 years old if that and of those rides listed few can manage a meaningful reimagining that’s not just in the style of “dumbo is now Aladdin’s carpets” even if it’s the same ride

I mean Philharmagic is bringing an entire screen to the show (used to be projections), but I understand what you mean. It's a minor change and its not really a "reimagined" attraction. I've heard talks about reimagining areas of Adventureland before... from what I can see on the map, I feel like they could remove "River View cafe" and have space for a ride there..

Adventureland desperately needs something!

There’s enough room for a queue.
If they remove the River View Cafe, the available area would be around 2500 sq meters approx (it's hard to measure with all the foliage). It's not a huge place, but enough for a small attraction (something like the traditional Fantasyland darkrides or Ant Man could fit in.

I doubt it. Not with the BOH so near.

You can take out Lion King, Duffy flex space, Tahitian Terrace and and the Marketplace to create a massive plot.

Why would you want to take out the best show in end park and the current most popular attraction in the park as well
Not in favor at all of taking it out. Just pointing out that the theater is sitting on a huge plot of land. HKDL has a lot of underdeveloped backstage.

I would take out Philharmagic though and move Wondrous Book into the Fantasyland theater.

What about that plot of land between TSL and WOF?
I think they can expand TSL with Toy Story Mania and Alien Saucers there (the land needs some indoor attractions)

But I guess HKDL / SAR government may want something more exclusive

Or they may consider using the pad as possible frozen land expansion if the sequels are well received (?)

The land won’t be an extension of frozen as the mountain doesn’t work with the location of the pad

The pad only work facing either south or east with the show building of whatever goes there blocking the unfinished back of the mountain

HKDL will announce its Annual Business Review for fiscal year 2024 very soon.

Some exciting news before the official release:

- the park is finally making profits again (last time was ten years ago in 2014)

- record-breaking revenues, predicted to be at least 600 million HKD

- at least 1M rise in attendance, most of the increase is contributed by East Asian guests, followed by tourists from Mainland China; there is, however, a drop in the number of local visitors (attendance in 2023: 6.4M ➡️ which means attendance is at least 7.4M in 2024)

- the park is confident that they won’t need further investment from the HKG government in the short run, and they will have the ability to expand on their own
