When we were at WDW this past Spring it seemed everyone had Crocs on. Young, old, little kids, wearing every color Croc known to man. We walked by so many stands in all of the parks selling them... I almost gave in and bought a pair.... almost! They're just too ugly. I couldn't do it.

Yes, but do you have the Presidential seal socks to go with them?

I strongly advise you to stay away from Pretzels then. Yeowch.

JESUS, I eat pretzels while wearing my CROCS all the time and haven't had a problem with either yet!:animwink:

To those who haven't put them on their feet, they feel a lot like those nubby athletic sandles that soccer players use to rest their feet. They have good coverage/protection, and they don't feel hot at all. They stay on your feet as well. I thought I'd only wear mine around the house, but found myself going on errands and spending the whole weekend in them. Mine are coming to WDW. Not as a primary shoe, but a switchoff shoe.

I can't believe that there is such strong opinions about shoes.
The first time we saw them was in Disney. And I do think that they are ugly.
However, my husband has a pair, I don't know which ones, but they are army green with a velcro strap in the back and he loves them. I also bought my daughter a pair, who seems to hurt her feet whenever she wears regular sandals or flip flops and she loves them. She can also put them on without help which is great when you have a one year old to contend with too.
We are looking for a new pair for her right now, since she broke the straps on her mary janes.
I, myself am a flip flops kind of gal. But, for our next trip I am going to get a pair, because your feet hurt like crazy down there from all the walking. Even when I wear my Nike Shox they hurt.

Crocs do make some good shoes for people who have to be on their feet all day. Aside from the diabetic shoes they make a shoe for nurses that I know a lot of people swear by...I'm going to school to be a nurse so I guess I will be a full convert soon.

BTW: showing George W. wearing Croc's is almost enough to make me NOT buy them.

Just a tip for Jibbetz with Disney Crocs

I had bought Disney crocs for all three of my boys and the Jibbetz were not secure enough for me, mostly because I paid three dollars for each one. So I bought those small rubber bands for ponytails for girls, come in a huge box for like a dollar. They are almost as small as the bands for braces. Anyway, I wrapped those around the post of the Jibbetz to give it width and stickiness. Works like a charm, haven't lost one yet, with three boys running around with them daily!

A 'mom and pop' dept. store in town has started selling the U of I crocs...I might just be able to convince my husband to wear a pair of those! But NOT the Orange/w/blue strap, it would have to be the Blue w/ Orange strap.

Are the Disney Crocs that are sold at Disney real "Crocs", or are they the fake ones that look like Crocs. I have real Crocs and the fake ones are totally different. Thanx!! Pics would be great too!!

I totally need a pair of Disney Crocs. You know Crocs arent the BEST looking things but they are super duper comfortable. And for me, comfort beats looks out of the water any day.

Wait, there are pirates crocs, too?!?!?! Can't wait til November to get those!

I love my red Mickey crocs. Couldn't find pink ones big enough for me:cry:

I took my jibbitz and put them in a pair of cheap knock offs that I wear to work daily. The cheaper ones I was able to buy in a smaller size because they don't have the strap that can tend to rub the arch. When crocs first came out, I, too swore NEVER but they are soooooo comfy and my feet tend to swell. I do wear them with socks when at Disney due to the sweat issue.

Has Anyone ever bought the flip flop croc, I can't stand the original ones because they are ugly but everyone raves about em for walking. here's a link to a picture to show you what i'm talking about...

I'd like to know if they are just as comfortable as the original without as much ugliness!

thanks

I do not have the flip flop ones ( I have an issue with the thing between the toes on flip flops - they have always rubbed blisters) BUT I have the "cleo" crocs. Close to the foot - sandal type not ugly - Love them

I tried on a pair the other day, but they didn't have the correct size. They seemed comfortable to walk in.

I don't have that exact style, I have the Capri where the strap is made from a leather-type material and nylon, but it's the same concept. I've worn them practically every day since I got them a month ago and LOVE them. I have bad ankle problems, but after a long day walking around the parks in them I have yet to feel any pain - which is a novel concept for me. I've worn them so much that now I have really bad tan lines on my feet in their exact silhouette.

I was skeptical about the "wonders" of the Crocs brand until I wore these shoes. I still can't bring myself to wear the clog style, but you can not beat the comfort that the shoes provide.

My DH just bought a pair of the Mickey type and lost a Jibbitz the same day he put it in.......just a little warning that the holes can be too big for them.

I have nonDisney Crocs and the jibbitz work fine with them....unless my puppy tries chewing them off! (I also owe my DS some new ones that said puppy chewed....he's addicted to them! LOL)

On the Jibbitz website it says the Disney croc's openings are larger than the regular crocs. That is why they are falling out.
