Question....Does anyone wear Crocs outside of WDW? I live in South Florida and I have never seen anyone besides tourists wearing Crocs. It is just amazing how many people wear them at Disney, does anyone wear them while at home??

99.9% of the time. The .1% is when I *HAVE* to wear shoes without holes in them for extended snow shoveling.

/cry

I'm so sad that they don't make the Mickey ones in the larger adult sizes. Maybe if I bind my feet? LOL.

When we were in Bradenton and had cause to visit the local ER all the staff were wearing them. Many people around town had them also.

I wear mine all the time and I live in upstate ish NY. I see people all the time wearing them and they often stop to talk about them.

I went to Disney in May and saw the crocs and couldn't believe it, I HATEE crocs. The ones with mickey as the holes i thought were only sold at Disney, but I work at Sportchek in Canada and we sell them too, I just can't seem to get away from them.

Crocs are really popular up north here in Michigan. I have 3 pairs, and love them. I wear them most of the time. I work at the airport here, and I can tell you, alot of people are wearing them, even in the winter.

I don't own a pair but have seen them in stores in all different colors. However, I have a feeling that when we visit WDW this summer, I will be bringing home a pair of my very own!! They are so ugly they are cute and the Disney ones are irresistable!:p

Lots and lots of people wear them here in Virginia, mostly at the hospitals and veternarian offices. Personally, I think they're hideous, Mickey holes/pirates or not. My cousin got a pair when we were at Disney and all of us were making fun of him the whole time... but he still wore them!

I don't think they're bad on little kids, but on adults... no. :dazzle:

The Disney designs are the same price as regular Crocs in stores? Didn't know that...hmmm, might have to take you up on your offer LOL.

(Goes to check website to see what is available.)

Actually in the parks they are around $38 (correct me if i'm wrong) & retail they should be $35 for adult (Mickey or Pirates) & $30 for Kids (Mickey or Pirate) But i get 30% off that so do the math you are saving a bit. For anyone who wants me to do that because they can't find their size ect. around town. I will not overprice in any way. You will pay the exact price that I pay for them plus shipping thats it. I will also confirm I can get your style/size before I set up an ebay listing ect. I love my Crocs & want other to know the joy of them so if your having trouble finding some let me know.

Heading for the great escape.
As I will be wearing mine around the parks I wear mine around the town to make sure they dont rub.

Still think they are ugly as hell, but they fit well and dont stink like my flip flops.

FAD.

Anyone have some parachute pants?

A fad is generally something that comes into vogue temporarily because of it's outward appearance or kitsch value.

I can tell you, very few of us wear Crocs because we think they make us look cool, LOL.

For me, the appearance is irrelevant. It's how they feel on my feet, and how my feet feel in general better even when I'm not wearing them because I'm not wearing icky gross constrictive shoes. I have happy feet since I started wearing them - it's a bit more than a "fad" for me.

Parachute pants served no purpose other than outward appearance (though I'm sure someone could make a lame joke as such), so I think that comparison doesn't really fit here. :)

That's what I've been saying! In the queue for the bus after a long day at the parks, I'm DANCING!(literally, my SO was so ashamed:lol:). My feet didn't hurt!
