Tried once this morning but I'm busy with other things and couldn't wait on the phone for long. Will be trying again later today.

I feel for people who have busy lives and can't be playing phone games all day. I wonder if waiting until later tonight is better?
Strange thing is, I would never have known about any of this if I didn't stalk the internet for Disney updates. There's no mention of POR being closed or instructions for this on the Disney official blog. Nothing was sent to us in email. I assumed they would instruct us. We would never know we even needed to change anything.

he said " so we need to move you somewhere equivelent since all stars are not going to be open" " do you have a area preference? " so i said No we always stay at POP so anything else is an adventure, we got the suite for the extra bathroom and space bonus points if theres live animals thats bonus points for my Niece. he then said " ok how does a 2 bedroom villa at Kidani Village sound? " and after i picked my jaw up off the floor, and squeed like a little girl. ,i said thats amazing.

It's official. We are changed over to CBR for August. We originally had a garden room for POFQ selected but there were none left at CBR so we went with standard. I'm just happy to have one less thing to stress about and saved some money. Very nice woman on the phone. I'm going to sit in a dark room and meditate now lol.

my shock took over when we got our upgrade, but it was a very trying day.It's official. We are changed over to CBR for August. That's so exciting
. When do you go? I would have settled for anything but CBR would be fun to try. I stayed there as a kid in the 90's but don't remember it. We stayed at Pop Century last year and loved the renovated rooms. Now I hope Disney doesn't close again. My heart can't take it.

We go August 9th. POP century is our home resort. Weve never stayed anywhere else. This is such a blessing to stay at Kidani, Ill never ever in my life be able to afford that rack rate for sure!That's so exciting
I've been on hold, listening to Disney music for the last 3.5 hours... Nothing but exhaustion to report at this time.
After 4 hours on the phone, I finally got our resort reservation changed, from POR (Aug 31-Sept 5), to Beach Club.
No extra charge, as long as we kept the same dates. We're very happy about that!
The change now appears on MDE, all our parks reservations are still there. The ordeal took a lot of patience, but in the end, it was all worth it. Now all I need is a big glass of wine and a good night's sleep.

Good deal on the Beach Club upgrade that would be worth the 4 hours on the phone to me. We got upgraded there once from the All Star Movies, when we checked in they said they needed our rooms for the Pop Warner football tournament so we got kicked out of the All Star and taken to the Beach Club. And it was during the Christmas season so the gingerbread carousel was in the lobby!

You are not alone! Yesterday, i tried off and on, and at times from multiple phones to get a connection. Not going to lie, it payed off greatly when I did make it through, but man oh man....I was getting friendly with all circuits are busy now lady.I'm not going to lie...
After spending all morning trying to get through on the phone, I'm starting to miss the Castle page I was stuck on the other day trying to make Park Reservations... At least I felt like I was getting somewhere...

After more than 3 hours on hold, I was off the phone in less than 10 minutes. We were moved from Coronado to a one bedroom villa at Riviera Resort. Resort and parks now confirmed. Just waiting on dining now.Good luck!
While I was on hold, I got the email from Disney to confirm our upcoming stay. I was told by the CM that the call I made confirms we will be staying so I do not need to respond to the email.
