Hall of Presidents Previews Today

Both Haunted Mansion and Hall of Presidents received refurbishments (Haunted Mansion's was a few years ago). The Hall of President details are throughout this thread, the Haunted Mansion refurbishments include improved audio throughout the ride and stretch room, special effects in the wallpaper within the ride, the replacement of the Spider webs with a brand new M.C. Escher style theme, a completely re-done attic, major changes to the Seance room (With the floating Leota), the reanimation of the Knight Animatronic, and a few other smaller details.

Thanks. I knew about HM (although you gave a nice summary of the changes, thank you) and HoP. But I got the impression (perhaps the wrong impression) from some peoples' posts that there were other, perhaps external, detail refurbs that happened, and I wasn't aware of it. Or were people just refering to the HM and HoP refurbs?

You know, I am fighting that battle too. But I have no plans on going in the near future, so I will definitely lose that battle at some point before I go. I might as well lose it now. *goes to youtube*

I won't be in the World for at least maybe four years, so I watched it.
With me starting college - we're reducing our vacations to every other year. Next year, Alaskan Cruise. Three years, Disneyland. After that, hopefully Europe with Disneyland Paris! If all goes well, of course.

I won't be in the World for at least maybe four years, so I watched it.

The entire area has been spruced up during the HM/HoP refurbs. There are still some tarps up in the area but by the time you get there everything should be "new". The characters were removed from LTT also, and while there were complaints, I think it was the wise choice to return LS to it's original concepts and designs. I think it could be said Liberty Square is now the best it's ever been.

Lost the battle and watched it...
Touching and very beautifully designed. What amazed me is the fact that both sides of the aisle IMHO will be touched by the speaking parts of Abe, George, and Barrack and the overall presentation. Very happy with Disney.

Saw it today. I must say that I am very impressed and everything looks very fresh and updated. I wish WDI would put as much effort in other attractions as with HoP..

The new narration does add a lot it seems.

I'm still waiting to see:
- the new Haunted Mansion (last I was there it was undergoing the refurb)
- the new SSE (just missed the closure and rode the old version)
- Toy Story Midway Mania
- American Idol
- Luxo, Jr.
- Hall of Presidents
and by the time I get there again, Space Mountain and TTA.
I don't know when I'l get back to WDW. You can make it until August, I promise.

I, also, just saw The Hall of Presidents. I must say I am very impress with the refurbishment!
-With Morgan Freeman as god...er.....narrator, I think it does add a lot to the show.
-I love it how it had the whole Gettysburg address (sorry, History nerd) and the AA are so life like, it is crazy! I swear when Obama was speaking, I thought the AA was president Obama!
-I was just take back by how awesome the video/movie/media thing at the beginning to start things off. It looked very "clean" (i guess) and in HD/Blu ray. Also nice sound effects
i say Disney turned a once a while attraction into a must see attraction!

Yes to Obama. However they were unable to get the voices of Lincoln or Washington.
