Just so we can clear the air on this garbage. The quote he's referring to is from a commentator called "Dave" on a site that shall not be named. As far as I can tell, Dave has no credible reputation, and is on a rant that Disney would never do this because the park "is called California Adventure". I burst out in laughter.

... and he loses any shread of credibility by saying this...

"This whole rumor is a lie and there is no GOTG EVER coming a Disney park. ToT in DCA and UoE are never changing."

Even if you don't believe the TOT rumor and think ToT is untouchable, it still a bold statement to say GoTG will NEVER come to a Disney park and even more bold to say UoE will never change.

At this point, they really should change the name because it barely has anything to do with California anymore. Hell, Cars Land takes place in Arizona. And now with Soarin' Over the World, they've strayed even farther

Each land is related to an aspect of the state I really dont think a name change is necessary.

I am sure it is possible that this has been brought up in another thread but with SWL coming to DL, does that not leave a particular star tour attraction in Tomorrowland that would be a much better fit for a GotG overlay.
