I've seen a lot of valid questions in regards to the break in Theme with the Trolleys and the new Tower. Is there any reason why the Trolleys couldn't stop at the end of the Blvd , next to the animation building, in front of the Hyperion facade?

The bigger question for me is if Hollywoodland is even going to exist anymore. If Marvel land is taking over the backlot, TOT, and part of the bus lot next to the esplanade then it doesn't seem like it's sticking around. But then again, I can't see them getting rid of the animation building and the Hyperion.

This is my question as well. Is Marvel replacing Hollywood Land? It seems like it is, but then again, what about the Animation building and the Hyperion? I guess it'd be kind of fun if they had a show similar like the promotion skits in Captain America ("Star Spangled Man").

I think the actual drop portion of ToT at DCA Is great fun, but the attraction's a total failure at telling its story. Without a proper buildup, it just isn't creepy enough, and the long, boring wait in the bolier room kills the pacing. Imagine if, on Haunted Mansion, you had to wait fifteen minutes to leave the Stretch Room.

A fix was needed... But--holy crud--does the Guardians storyline sound contrived or what? It sounds about as sincere as the "stories" Six Flags coughs up for their DC comics coasters.

Has anyone asked yet how GotG fits into a park themed on California?

Dear. Oh dear.

"The MCU revolutionized movies and movies are famously made in California" apparently that is their justification, just been messaged that beauty of a one line pitch of its placement about 10 minutes ago.

You should see the one line pitch for Epcots placement justification for the "fans" ...

I mused earlier about just how popular a Hollywood themed area is in a park that is right next to Hollywood. For the locals its likely "ho hum". I'm not a local and its ho hum. And there are so many quality tourist spots around the region to get one's Hollywood fix. Its always seemed to be a lazy decision to me, an excuse or simple backdrop to allow for the existence of the ToT perhaps, the effort to make the parks a 'one stop for all things' so a visitor never goes beyond property.

But it has a good hot dog store.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Disney California Adventure and Walt Disney Studios may have been holding the short end of the candle, but that is no excuse to expand and rebuild the show building to be taller and have randomizing drops; nor does it excuse just not taking out Twilight Zone theming; or extending the contract; instead of being rude; because they is not knowing what they is doing; and shoehorning the square peg in the round hole for this pandering garbage.

Yes, I think between here and other social media platforms that has been one of the biggest questions. Do they set this new Marvel land in a futuristic Los Angeles or Cali city? If not then it points even more to how desperate they are to put marvel in the park regardless of thematic integrity. Ultimately, this may be far worse thematically than putting The Star Wars Experience in the far reaches of Disneyland.

The justification that I posted above is the answer as to why its going into Hollywoodland portion of the park. Direct from one of the Horses mouth ...
