One of the people who got to go to a media event said they discribed it as similar to Star Tours where there were different combinations of show scenes and different drop sequences.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY – MISSION BREAKOUT!
As we mentioned before, this is going to be epic. In the ride, we’ll be helping Rocket break his friends out of the Collector’s Fortress. The ride will have randomized experiences so you’ll never know what adventure will be in store. In true Guardians of the Galaxy form, the ride will also include music inspired by the film soundtrack. Sign us up for this awesomeness.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: AWESOME DANCE OFF!
This is our chance to live our dream of seeing Star-Lord dance to the sweet tunes of an old-school boom box. Gamora will be there too, being her usual amazing self. We can’t wait to meet them in person.

To bring in a boy demographic that's not based on pirates to rival the girl demographic based on princesses?

Disney is a multi-media company. It actually started with movies before the theme park.
It's not like they had already had a set of characters that weren't pirates that could be marketed to boys like the princesses like Hercules or Peter Pan. It's a real shame they've never made movies based on those stories.

It would be their version of Toon Town.

Besides, it would be less of a break than day glow plants and tall blue skin guys riding dragons.
A Zootopia version of Toontown is something I'd really love to see, and the train ride fits in with the concept really well. BUT, the thing that would make Zootopia awkward in Animal Kingdom is that you'd be visiting Zootopia, then returning to main AK and the devolved, naked versions of the characters you were just visiting. It'd be weird, just because the characters in Zootopia are designed as believably evolved versions of many of the real world animals in the main park--and the movie even has that "Yoga" scene focusing on the awkwardness of seeing the citizens naked. Okay, seriously, I don't know why I'm making such a big deal about this... :D

:D Maybe they should put clothes on the real animals. Do we really need to see a naked male gorilla?

Im kinda starting to think that they should just drop the Golden Age Hollywood theme as the only thing that really represents that now is the buildings (some of which aren't even full buildings). The area is basically a mini Hollywood Studios now, which I'm kinda ok with.

I think as more of that area slowly morphs into Marvel land, you'll see the old-Hollywood theme disappear as well.

I think TOT is the only thing in DCA people will have nostalgia for, Maybe Soarin".

Ya those are the two biggest and maybe to a lesser extent - GRR. It's a non IP, family friendly ride, that's been there since 01 that usually = a lot of laughs. In a few years there will probably be nostalgia for RSR and TSMM if there isn't already.

Yeah, except GRR hasn't been replaced. (yet?)
