Since Bing doesn't know the difference between DHS and DCA I had a mild heart attack this morning. I was a bit concerned the whole EPCOT thing was out the door and the rumors about DHS were true.

From my business dealings with Microsoft, your jaw would drop to the floor if you saw how much they invest in bing, it's staggering. The truth of the matter is that it's ripe with data for Cortana and that's something that Nadella and his team are banking on long-term. The amount that they spend on human capital alone is big bucks. It's like IBM buying The Weather Channel --digital assets as their people say and not the TV side-- as the data plays into their massive long-term Watson plans.

I don't know why but a few days ago I said this was a terrible ride, which it is not, it just needs an update. It's a shame to see it go, but I'd prefer to get something new than never get anything.
