Last Christmas my friend Linda gave me a flamingo statue with assorted costumes for the holidays. I'll post a pic later.

That's all the decorating I've done so far.....:o

It's early.
You've got time to deck the halls.
Mine were decked yesterday. It's Joey's favorite day of the year. She starts jumping around and meowing all over the place as soon as the boxes start coming out. Right now she's parked under the tree. She slept there all evening yesterday, wrapped in the tree skirt.

We have DD's cats here too besides our 2, so there's no way I can even open a closet right now without having to count heads (or tails) every time I close the door. The tree won't go up for another week or 2 anyway, but I'll do some decorating today or tomorrow.

4 of them!
Sometimes it feels like there are 10 of Joey...she seems to be everywhere at once. Four would definitely have me crazy.

OT:
I keep meaning to ask...
How's your mom doing?

She has good days and bad - sometimes it's hard to tell from our phone conversations, so I rely on my SIL's updates. When we go in February we plan to spend more time with her to give SIL a break.

Along those lines, I had told her that we'd take her to Cypress Gardens or Silver Springs while we're there for her birthday. She always loved those places when we used to go for longer stretches in the summer, and she finds WDW overwhelming. So she chose Cypress Gardens. The very next day they announced they'll be closing for renovations.

Morning, girlies! (And Vince)

DH is off to the tree farm to pick up our tree that we tagged earlier this month. I have never in my life put up a Christmas tree in November before, but since we are leaving for WDW on Dec. 17th we wanted to have time to enjoy it. :xmas:

How are you guys doing today?
