Im not hating on the whole Frozen thing, it was cute and I loved the Fireworks show. I also think it added to a park that sorely needs more attractions, I want to see DHS get more love!!! Any word on the "new" entertainment in EPCOT?? I haven't heard of anything we don't know about yet but I hope that some acts are getting the "AXE" and will be "ROLLING" out of the parks sooner rather than later!!! Thoughts?? Marie

Hopefully they don't block the nice new view of the Chinese Theater with a "temporary" stage all summer long. I would think there are alternates to this?

It would be cool if the stage built itself out of ice for the shows and melted off to jsut a garden in between :) Sort of impossible in the 92 & humid summer days... but, if Disney wants to go for a wow factor I'm sure they could figure it out.

Worried about this as well, they just start getting things cleaned up and now they are going to bring back the tacky stage again and plop it in front of the theater?.. The park also has scary crowd control issues with the amount of people during this event crammed onto one street, it was so dangerous last summer that was it for me, even though the fireworks are nice.

2 days per week they are performing modern songs in the Gardens Theatre.
I caught it yesterday and it was really impressive. Seemed like Disney finally noticed that acapella has gone mainstream (Pitch Perfect, Pentatonix, The Sing-Off, etc) and are trying to capitalize in a fun way. It fills in for the time when they don't have artists performing during Food... I mean Flower & Garden.

I believe it was said in the Japan thread the other day, but i'll try and say it again. The pavilions on their own are great and showcase the cultures of the countries and much of the entertainment and the like is based on history, but there's nothing wrong with trying to fit in a few modern things here and there to show what's popular today as long as it fits.

What is this update to Voices of Liberty?
Posted on the Disney Parks Blog: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2015/03/experience-fresh-entertainment-this-spring-at-epcot/
Starting this week, Voices of Liberty has a fresh new look and sound for their appearances on the outdoor stage at America Gardens Theatre. Two days each week, this remarkable 8-part a cappella group is bringing their talents to even more guests, performing fresh arrangements of popular American songs, both classic and contemporary. Voices of Liberty will continue their traditional performances in the rotunda of The American Adventure pavilion Wednesday through Sunday each week.

As usual the vocal performance is top notch, but it seems a little strange to see them do a full set of pops without any patriotic music. The staging seems a little awkward, but not too bad considering they staged this while also performing the traditional sets. I'm glad that they're able to do longer sets here, but a capella is so much better without microphones and their indoor space is perfect for them. It's always great to see them switch things up, but I hope this isn't a permanent change; I'm glad it's only a few days per week.

When they started singing Let It Go, we heard that the performers pushed back some. Does anybody know how they reacted to this set list?

So they are not performing inside anymore? I loved them inside, had a great atmosphere.

I went this summer and didn't have a problem with the crowds. In fact I thought they handled the crowd control really well for the events and it was a lot less hectic and crazy than any night at MK.
