Any talk of Wandering Oaken's coming back in some capacity? Not sure where it could go since Soundstage One is being worked on and I'm not sure what's going on with AFI showcase now.

Most likely in the building next to the Superstar Theater

If they keep the sing a long I hope they do some rewriting & reworking of the show. We saw it back in December and I was shocked by how last minute & thrown together it felt. Maybe it's just me but I thought A&E would actually be SINGING at their sing a long! :)

Well since Belle sings the songs at Beauty and the Beast Live, and Ariel sings her songs at Voyage of the Little Mermaid, my family and our girls were not real impressed with the Frozen Sing-A-Long. If they are going to move it to the bigger Superstar Theater I really hope they come up with a much better show because I'm not waiting in line for the current Frozen Sing-A-Long again

And as for the Frozen Summer Fun returning? it seems like a good idea since they've shut down the Backstage Tour, American Idol, and Jack Sparrow since last summer, it'll give people some reason to go to DHS, especially if the MK hub is still under construction this summer too

I can see it being just as popular.

At least they're [rumored/maybe?] moving the sing-along to Superstar Theater. Hopefully it looks as good inside as the Anaheim one does.

I'd personally like to see them add Olaf and Marshmallow as M&G's but I doubt that would happen.
Marshmallow is a photo op, calling it a m&g is a stretch, it's a big puppet that may or may not have someone moving his arms. Visibly...

Olaf now, hmmmm

Well, true, it is just a big puppet. I saw pictures of the two cast members on each side controlling his arms. I still think it's neat looking, lol. But yeah, kinda throws you off I guess seeing two cast members there.

I still don't understand why they can't have him be a m&g. Not sure why TDO makes the decisions they do.

I'm assuming he's going on the same float he was on for the Christmastime parade. It was used last time in the "processional" just no Olaf.

Having it come back is a good idea i think, i just hope they don't have those stupid Olaf fans this time. (They made the park look messy) Things honestly really depend on if we are going to see some sort of park remodeling starting up soon. If something is finally announced, They could easily move the frozen sing along into Idol theater, and reset the theater exit gift shop with frozen merch but Wandering oaken's needs a building if the frozen snow ground is to return. The only spot i can think of them using for the frozen snow ground is the capt. jack sound stage which would come at some cost to clean out (gut) the space. The reason I say this is i believe a large portion of the back of the park, soundstage one to muppets, will be closed soon as theres not much left back there except LMA and their contract is rumored to be expiring in February according to a leader i spoke with.

Shameless?

When Lion King came out there was a parade at Disneyland, followed by a show at MK, a parade unit at MK, a show at DAK, and a Broadway musical that is still playing. Is that shameless?
That was back when the parades always incorporated the current animated feature to begin with, and the show at DAK and musical are more of its legacy as they came several years after the fact. This is Disney milking it's trendiness for all it's worth.

I agree that they're milking it, but I disagree on the shameless part.

I do, however, wish there was a Black Cauldron Summer Fun Live event.

Wouldn't want them to get a rush on that DHS expansion or anything ...

That's my question... supposedly, one of the reasons for doing a Toy Story Playland is that it can be added relatively quickly. Do we have any idea when to expect that? You would hope that the powers that be would try to get it up within a year considering all that is closed, but this is WDW and not know for quick builds....

They don't seem to be in much of a rush. We aren't even getting much from insiders which, to me, means they aren't doing much of anything. I hope I'm wrong but considering they apparently want to wait until the new Star Wars movie to decide on building that expansion ... I just can't help but shake my head.

Yet, Disneyland Paris gets upgrades, refurbs, and plans going into their 25th, Disneyland gets upgrades for their 60th ... Tokyo gets a proper Frozen land and a new Fantasyland, Hong Kong gets a new light parade and we get ... ?

I guess at least we get the hat down and Animal Kingdom gets some love. We can't even get upgrades to Big Thunder and Mermaid or Pan [although I appreciate the new queue].
