It's up on the MDE website as well, but a dead link.

Not sure if they're reliable or not, sounds sort of plausible, but it's only a one day special event? Seems like more could be done than just a one day event. But it wouldn't surprise me if they cheaped out and just did it as one day thing.

Yeah maybe they're just testing the water and seeing how it goes, surely they will want to cash in on all the hype Frozen has...and a one day event doesnt seem to take full advantage of that.

LOL. OK. Can you clarify then? I'm just going by what the link was saying and did say "not sure if they're reliable" and basically saying it makes no sense to have it be a one day event, seems like that would be a waste.

Glad to know it won't be (and that they didn't cheap out).

This is soo clever of Disney. Has anyone else noticed the rush on this project and the supposedly opening day??? A day before the grand opening of DA. I bet Disney are sick of hearing about DA and how its going to take away so much of their business. Everyone is expecting a huge SWL announcement but why spend billions when they don't have to, they could but they don't have to. A simple Frozen summer overlay with fireworks, basic stage show and m&g's will quite simply make HS a huge amount of money this summer not only from the gate but also from merch as well as making HS a full day park. I can see this being so popular that it may be running for sometime.

Yes hardcore Frozen fans will be wondering where a brand new attraction is but quite simply they don't need to build one....yet anyway. They are going to make as much money as possible before investing in anything major. This is Disney doing what it does best and this one is going to work for them. The attendance figures for HS this year will be the highest ever.

I think the timing is also around July 5th because of following after July 4th fireworks.

But wait, you said that @Kman101 was wrong is his assessment of that same website's info, or am I misunderstanding you? Perhaps just the possibility of a one day event was wrong?

I'm thinking he said "this" as in that link was wrong, I'm assuming. I have to think they are as it sounds like it would be more than a one-off event.

So does any "insider" care to elaborate on what is/was written out;

"Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 5th
Olaf on Summer Vacation in Hollywood Boulevard
Coolest Summer Ever Dance Party taking place in Hollywood Boulevard
Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome taking place on the Sorcerers Stage
A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration taking place on the Streets of America
Oaken’s Frozen Funland in Pixar Place
Frozen Fireworks Spectacular happening above Hollywood Boulevard"

Is this what the OP was talking about? Will all of this be happening until Sept. 30th?

I want to know why frozen will be in pixar place its not a pixar movie.

Also if it showed up for only one day it could have been a test and may end up running more than one day even though the british forum post say otherwise.

Who exactly is in charge of naming things at Disney lately?"Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! sounds like one of those cheap summer traveling shows (kind of like this Marvel Universe Live I keep hearing on the radio).

Anyway, I'll be in the parks late July. I'll probably only catch the fireworks though. Nothing else really interests me.
