Frozen at Disney's Hollywood Studios for the summer?

I am soooo excited! This reminds me of Disney in the 90s where there was always a big thing when new movies came out. I can't wait to be there! I hope the firework show is amazing!

I would have liked to see the fireworks show so I'm a little disappointed it's ending 9/1. We all know this screams last minute response to Diagon Alley. I think they realized that they had to include a fireworks show to have it be somewhat substantial. However, it doesn't look like there's a traditional meet and greet. Am I reading this wrong?

Interesting that they call it a goodwill tour of neighboring kingdoms, I am wondering whether we will see Epcot and AK next in the rotation for a royal visit after September. I can see it now Frozen 2: the search for more money

This is soo clever of Disney. Has anyone else noticed the rush on this project and the supposedly opening day??? A day before the grand opening of DA. I bet Disney are sick of hearing about DA and how its going to take away so much of their business. Everyone is expecting a huge SWL announcement but why spend billions when they don't have to, they could but they don't have to. A simple Frozen summer overlay with fireworks, basic stage show and m&g's will quite simply make HS a huge amount of money this summer not only from the gate but also from merch as well as making HS a full day park. I can see this being so popular that it may be running for sometime.

Yes hardcore Frozen fans will be wondering where a brand new attraction is but quite simply they don't need to build one....yet anyway. They are going to make as much money as possible before investing in anything major. This is Disney doing what it does best and this one is going to work for them. The attendance figures for HS this year will be the highest ever.

Well if you read back a bunch of pages, not necessarily the case. Attendance is the larger issue.

Also, they pulled this together in a WEEK.

Well, it's not a bad idea.... Sure Disney is milking every cent out of this movie, but this "celebration/promo" actually sounds fun.

I agree. This is what a temporary celebration ought to be. The fireworks, parade, and multiple different things make it substantive. It draws on a hot property but not in a way that stick the resort with an albatross (I'm looking at you, Stitch's Great Escape) if the trendy thing becomes less trendy soon.

Putting it in DHS draws to a park that might otherwise be skipped by some guests. Having pieces of it all day long means it can't be a quick stop just for this before moving on, and means that Frozen-obsessed folks can get their fix over a whole day instead of just in a 10 minute Anna/Elsa meet n greet.

I wish I had a trip planned for the summer so I could actually see fireworks at DHS. It's been a long time since I've been there for that.

NICE JOB FROZEN!!!!! You got DHS doing Fireworks and F! all summer! That's a first in F!'s History! Sorcery in the Sky only played on July 4th and New Years when F! Opened back in the 90's. And that was before the hat!
Might we have holiday fireworks again because of this?

This sounds like a sure fired winner. This should result in a big increase in attendance at DHS. I wish it lasted longer because we won't be there until 9/20.
