Trip Report From Droids to Toys… Texting The Boy and Can We Just Blame It On Captain Hook? Our September 2019 Disney Journey (Including Another Ross’ Return!)

Once again, another amazing trip is complete and I have to say… it’s been really hard returning to reality this time. But such is life…

You guys should know us by now…

Hope/My Droid Hating Princess whose Autism always lends to some entertaining drama.

Disclaimer: As I am typing up this trip report, my mind is already dreaming of our next adventure. Will I finish this TR before it gets here? Only time will tell.

And since the park was still open when it was over, we booked it over to Toy Story for one more battle. Julia shot 100% accuracy! I thought that was pretty cool as did the CM who noticed.

And then changed again from toys to droids and made it on the last flight of SR – we were actually the last of the night to ride. Pretty cool!!

As we were exiting, a CM stopped us and asked Hope for her autograph!! It was so sweet!!

Hope was happy to obliged!!



She was even happier to get a Goofy bus back to the resort!

Notice the piece of paper Hope is holding? It's part of the confetti they drop at the Disney Jr. show - she held on to it the entire day! And she does still have it up in one her treasure boxes.

Off to dream land we went…

1000 likes for finishing a 4 year old TR. I have let my last one die and never looked back. I can't tell you how much my wife and I have enjoyed reading your TR's and watching your kids mature! Especially the ice cream for breakfast. The Disney brand is in decline but the magic is still there through CM's whose only goal is not to pick your pockets. I hope this upcoming trip is truly magical for you and your family and YOU really enjoy it. I have no doubt that the happiness your family feels will be more than enough for you. Thank you for doing TR's I have always enjoyed them.

Today was Animal Kingdom and my notes are very few and sparse. I think it’s just because AK is not our favorite park – which us strange because EE is my favorite ride and FOTLK is my favorite show, so you would think I like think park more, but nope.

The girls and I ate breakfast at POP’s food court. Ross caught up with us and we all rode the bus together to the park.

As soon as we entered the park, we made our way to FOP with our FP.

Unfortunately, we accidentally went to the Navi River Journey entrance. They pointed us to the correct direction and off we flew on our banshees.

It’s a great ride – but my heavens that man in the pre-show annoys me to no ends!!

Pandora is beautiful, but I don’t think we can appreciate the full experience because none of us had ever seen the movie.

Next order of business was meeting Hope’s favorite – Pocahontas!! She moved to a new location so that was a bit of a bummer. No matter though…. Hope was ecstatic!! I have to say, this meet & greet is always the best!! She spent so much time talking to Hope – I have to wonder if it’s because of Hope’s dress….

After, we ventured over to Asia and rode EE and Kali.

First, we took on the Yeti.

Hope was able to do Kali it if she wore her poncho – and I happily wore my too because I get cranky if my feet get wet.

We walked around a bit and waited for the next showing of the Lion King.

Hope not only got picked to parade around at the end, but they also picked her to make the giraffe sound!

She was in complete heaven! I was in complete tears!

Oh my gosh... I was crying like a baby! And I didn't think I could get any prouder than when she was Belle's picture frame!! lol
