Trip Report From Droids to Toys… Texting The Boy and Can We Just Blame It On Captain Hook? Our September 2019 Disney Journey (Including Another Ross’ Return!)

Once again, another amazing trip is complete and I have to say… it’s been really hard returning to reality this time. But such is life…

Disclaimer: As I am typing up this trip report, my mind is already dreaming of our next adventure. Will I finish this TR before it gets here? Only time will tell.

We went to ride Buzz

and meet some princesses... Julia had no interest! lol

Then went to stake out a spot to watch the fireworks. Julia was busy texting - caught you!!

I love HEA - I always get the chills at one point. One of these shots I still use for my background on my phone.

After the show, we rode BTM and got ice cream and then Hope wanted to ride Dumbo. Julia had no interest, so she and Ross went over to Space Mountain. Hope loved Dumbo and then we walked over to Tomorrowland and met Julia and Ross by Monsters Inc.

It was almost midnight when we boarded our bus back to POP. Someone's feet were hurting.

And no - he did not pack an extra pair of shoes and NO - I was not allowing any purchases of Crocs this trip! (And if you have no idea of what I'm taking about - you'll have to go back and read my TR from 2017.)

After dinner, we went to ride Splash... little did we know, it would be one of our last times.

Awww, what timing for this! And Julia wearing the shirt. I just found my Ziploc baggie last week and it made me tear up.

Edited after I saw the HEA photos - I'm going to see this in a few weeks and it made me tear up too!!!

Thursday September 12th 2019

Today we headed to Hollywood Studios. The girls and I left Pop around 9:30. We left Ross behind. He would meet up with us at the park.

The skyliners were testing and Hope was sooooo wishing we could ride it! Every time we walked near them, she lingered by, I think hoping a CM would call us over to test it out. Spoiler – They never did.

Once we were there Hope wanted a photo shoot with the other attraction she couldn’t wait to ride…

We ventured over to Star Wars Land. Hope and Julia remained unimpressed.

I actually let Julia go over and watch Muppet Vision while I forced Hope to take a picture with me. Mean, mean mommy!

Ross met up with us and we all rode Smuggler’s Run.

I spotted what I was pretty certain would be the entrace for ROR. I think I wanted to ride that as much as Hope wanted to ride the Skyliner!

Lunch was at Primetime. The food was delish, but we didn’t really have a great server. It was okay though, we enjoyed the food.

After our bellies were full, we headed for Toy Story Land. Both girls were much happier here than Star Wars. Sad, sad mommy. Slinky Dog was first - such a fun ride, but we never seemed get our photopass pics from it.

Then it was time for TSMM – always a favorite! Ross and I battled it out. I was victorious!!

Then it was time for Disney Jr. Dance Party – Hope’s favorite. She loved the fact that it opened on her b-day in 2018. She loved the show – the rest of us tolerated it. Lol. Actually it was cute and watching her interact was amazing.

We walked across to see VOTLM and when we walked out the sky opened up…

We had a Fast Pass for Indiana Jones – something new, but due to the weather, it turned into a multiple experience pass. No worries, but would we ever make it to see Indy? Nope.

That’s okay – it gave me an excuse to drag everyone into Launch Bay!

Then we went over to Frozen – it doesn’t get old here! And Ben was there!!

Julia said hi to Gertie.

And then got a treat! Her love for Mickey pops evolved into Mickey ice cream sandwiches. The CM noticed her b-day button and gave it to her free!

Ross and Hope waited for Julia and I who rode R&R. Hope made the height requirement, but she was having NONE of this one!!

Time to see some Cars friends!!

It was a cute show - but not something I would care to repeat.

Julia was wanting to eat at Pizza Rizzo – so that’s where we headed. So many better places to eat IMO. Plus I’m not a huge Muppets fan so I could skip this and not care. But my girl and her love for puffy pizza was happy.

Then it was time to visit some friends…

Hope wanted nothing to do with poor Mike and Sully – except open the door! Lol. And while she tolerated Sully, she would NOT go anywhere near poor Mike!

We walked around One Man’s Dream and then ventured over to Fantasmic!

I bought Julia a tee-shirt.
