I think the point you’re missing is that limiting soda fountain access will not cure a single case of obesity...because it has the be self determination across the entire spectrum/life pattern or it feels.
Stamps wasn't making a cause-and-effect claim. Disney isn't limiting refills to keep people fit. She's just pointing out a correlation between unhealthy attitudes about food and drink and the mentality that might lead one to be upset that 60 oz of soda with a meal is insufficient.

I don’t buy that line. But, I won’t go there... at least not in this thread.

You should...because it’s true: and it gets worse.

Many of the same companies lobby to DEPRESS school meal funding...

Doesn’t make sense? Well what costs
More - healthy food or crappy, artificial stuff?

You’re giving too much credit there...honestly...

Well, to be fair, they don't work to depress school meal funding. They work to depress subsidy in exchange for vending machines. They make the argument that honey buns and other stuff from the vending machine saves, and can actually generate, revenue for the school districts, whereas school provided cafeteria food has similar caloric balance (they are not wrong there, frankly).

I believe she originally said, “and we wonder why America has an obesity problem.” I appreciate you trying to cover her here, seems like she needs it from time to time. But, the original statement fails to mention anything about an attitude towards soda.

There are much more pertinent issues that help explain the epidemic, many of which are societal issues. I don’t want to bore anyone with details.

From what we hear, no Disney has not stopped the refills on the paper cups, but doesn't mean that they can't at any moment.

The chipped cups were to help control overuse of the machines. Water is still free refills, infact one doesn't even have to buy soda to get it, tell them to drink as much as they want.
From what I hear, as in someone at Disney right now, Riverside was not allowing the 3 refills that has been the norm since the chip cups. I'm sure I'll find out if any other places are doing the same when I talk to them again. It seems no one knows, as people keep quoting the chip cup 3 refill policy. We all know that.

I guess the 2 quotes in succession weren’t clear enough.. here’s an actual screenshot.

Reading.. it’s becoming a lost art.. :(

Yes, luv, we all have a scroll back option as well. He misquoted you.

I'm not sure how "and we wonder" vs "this" changes your statement enough to invalidate his observation?
