“Oh, that was uncalled for.” & “And we wonder why America has an obesity problem.”

These two statements alone make me think you’re soccer mom who watches way too much Good Morning America or Fox News.

Yes, I am a soccer mom...and proud of it. Thanks! :)

Unfortunately though, being a soccer mom means that I don’t have too much time to lounge around and watch tv.. but I do watch FNC when I can.

From what I hear, as in someone at Disney right now, Riverside was not allowing the 3 refills that has been the norm since the chip cups. I'm sure I'll find out if any other places are doing the same when I talk to them again. It seems no one knows, as people keep quoting the chip cup 3 refill policy. We all know that.
Ok. So, one refill? Buy an unlimited cup then.

I knew it!!! Wow, I’m good.

You and your fellow soccer moms probably get each other real heated talking about obesity and other social problems. Someone should contract you guys to solve some problems.

They’re probably testing the waters with the machines...they do a lot of unannounced tinkering with food and bev and always have...

Food and bev is always under immense pressure to increase “margins” wherever they can...

What’s the point of this post? I didn’t bother to scroll back, again you’re not worth my time, so I quoted your post with enough accuracy to not change the point of it..

Oh darling, you said you didn’t understand what my comment had to do with soda.. I think.. but then earlier you just said that soda consumption isn’t a major problem.. So, whichever one is your current point now, they’re both wrong. It’s ok, happens to the best of us.

Oh, they will.

They'll make sure their children are never challenged, never work, but always attend "school", even if it is for silly majors, incurring debt upon the kids...and then never support the children in the future, but also support them through credit card debt. Oh, and whilst they never did anything themselves, they'll tell the kids how much of a failure they are for not marrying, but also tell them that they shouldn't marry because no one is good enough for them.

Classic Boomer / Gen-X maternal behaviour.

Bahaha.

Let's put the obesity epidemic to the side and talk about the collapse of the American family since we're getting philosophical tonight. What does it say about you and your values when you think someone should be ashamed of being a loving mother?

...yeah...but there’s more...like the recipient of a “trade down” or something...

Bore away.
A huge problem that has gone unnoticed is forcing children to eat everything on their plate. Earlier generations forced their children to eat everything, and parents today are doing the same.

We should let kids eat until their full, and then take the food away. This prevents stomach size from increasing and overeating habits from forming.

If we look at the Japanese, these people live longer than most other countries. Why? A number of reasons. But, a huge one is the 80% rule. Most Japanese people eat until their stomachs are 80% full, or until they start to feel full but could eat more. They simply don’t overeat. This is huge considering they start practicing the 80% rule from childhood.

Yes, parents who have their kids in 6-7 days per week of sports, doing their homework immediately when they come home from school.. who sometimes have multiple games on weekends..tryouts every 6 months.. That equals a bunch of kids who aren’t challenged, or work at all. Sounds like it’s setting them up for a life of failure, for sure.
