Just wanted to get the word out there for those who like to avoid the cheerleaders that the World Championships are at Walt Disney World this weekend. Our teams are competing at the Milk House and not in any of the parks. I know that there is a special event tonight in Magic Kingdom for the cheerleaders.

So those who hate please avoid, for those who do not - if you are in the area take in a minute to check out the competition. The stuff your see there with these level 5 teams and up will blow your mind!!

Brilliant...and Canadian
In the Parks
No
Using the precedent of the World Series, yes.
An over-arrogant misnomer at best...

Also since every year the super bowl winning team in the nfl is also considered world champions.
World champions of "American Football"... Certainly nothing to be proud of...

Canadian football at least requires some skill. And of course the vast majority of the world considers "Football" to mean an entirely different sport.

Hmmm I'm not sure if there are any teams competing outside the US. I know at the big competition we have in Atlanta (Cheersport Nationals) there are teams from the UK that show up to compete.

Anyway, I posted this in an effort to protect those who don't like to be around the masses. For those staying at All Star Movies, it's too late:ROFLOL:

I love cheerleaders, but not for the same reason.

The problem isn't the Cheerleading...it's that in America it's demographic is, sadly, mostly annoying/dumb/ill-mannered. At least when they come to the parks and abuse the rides and the Cast Members...
:brick:

So, as always, I'll just enjoy it on a case-by-case basis.

Are you referring to Rugby, Aussie Rules, Soccer or actual Canadian Rules footbal vs. American Football. If you're refering to American vs. Canadian football, there isn't much difference to think Canadian requires more skill. But you certainly don't think American football requires no skill do you?! That's absurd.

WOW i missed that!

To monty-mon, you might wanna roll out of your couch and actually PLAY a sport before talking. I've played american football, european football, rugby, and ice hockey to boot and i can tell you that being good at american football means you are not only SCARY big, but faster than the average person. You would be SHOCKED to know how fast 300lb football players can move, its scary as HELL to see that comming towards you. And as for rugby its like american football, the biggest and fastest in europe play rugby, just like our biggest n fastest play american football. As far as canadian football theres a reason why people who dominate in canadian football move onto the REAL game and washed up players like rickey williams go there and dominate

If everything is better in Canada why didnt Walt put Disneyland , WDW or any of the other parks in Canada. Then you have to bring your rear to the USA to come to Disneyworld. If you do not like our country dont come to it. Dont insult my country.

Monty, you have full permission to mock anything about America from me.

All he was saying is he doesn't like American Football, not that he doesn't like the US.

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Screeching Cheerleaders or the Velociraptors from the Jurassic Park movies? They both sound the same to me.

One late night while leaving Epcot;

Cheerleader: *overly excited* "OMG gang... lets do a cheer on the bus!!!"

Me: *mumbles* "Dear god, lets not." :dazzle: :lookaroun

Cheerleader: *glares at me*

Me: *glares back*

:lol::lookaroun

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
Im sure there must be something I could contribute to his discussion.

Why is it called football when you use your hands?

The best thing about cheerleading, is it gives bimbos an after school activity. And keeps them all in one place, though with that level of vacuous space there is a risk of a black hole.

Lets face it if American Footballers are so big and tough why do they wear pads? Thats something women do surely?

Canada....its just America lite.

America is a great country its the locals that are the problem

The world series is called that because the folk that follow the game have that level of understanding of global awareness.

Aussie rules was a development on rugby designed to be played by a population that got there due to their inability to follow rules.

Have I missed anyone?
