wildcard race

Dallas is 8-4 and they play the Steelers on Sunday. Go Cowboys :)

Tampa Bay and Carolina battle for first place in the NFC South on monday night. One of those 2 teams might win the division. The other team could be a wildcard. Both teams are 9-3.

Dallas and Atlanta are both 8-4. Right now Atlanta woud win the tiebreaker because they have a better NFC record. I want New Orleans to beat Atlanta on Sunday.

The Redskins are 7-5 and just one game behind the Cowboys. I want Ravens to beat the Redskins on Sunday night.

Go Cowboys :)

I heard that Marion Barber may be out for Sunday...any local word with any more on his status?

Marion Barber is not playing today. I hope we have him back next Sunday for the Cowboys and Giants game. Since the Giants got beat today all we have to do is win today and we are 2 games behind the Giants. After that if we beat the Giants we are one game behind them with 2 more games left to play. So there is still that chance that we can win the division.

Cowboys lost :(

Well the Falcons also lost. The Falcons lost to an NFC team and the Cowboys lost to an AFC team. So the Cowboys NFC record will stay at 6-4. Since the Falcons lost there NFC record is now 5-4. I am not happy that the Cowboys got beat today, but at least we did not get beat by an NFC team. Both the Cowboys are the Falcons are now 8-5. The Cowboys have 2 more NFC games and one more AFC game. The rest of the games for the Falcons will all be NFC games. I am not sure what the next tie-breaker is.

Well soon the Sunday night game will start and I really need the Ravens to beat the Redskins so the Redskins will stay one game behind the Cowboys.

Next week it's the Giants and the Cowboys on Sunday night. The Giants might have won the division just now since the Cowboys lost. But this game will still be big. If we can beat the Giants we will be 3-2 in the division and 7-4 in the NFC and that will really help with the tie-breakers over the Redskins and the Falcons. Also the Cowboys and the Giants games are always big rival games since both teams are in the same division. I plan to watch the game at a local sports bar.

Man...what a comeback season my Miami Dolphins are having! :sohappy: After last year, I was seriously only hoping for a couple of more wins. Did not expect them to turn it around SO quickly! Have a realistic shot at making the playoffs now! All thanks to the genius that is the Tuna!!!:p

I think I just heard that if both the Cowboys and the Falcons win the rest of their games that the tie-breaker would go to the Cowboys. This tie-breaker would be best record out of common games.

The Saints really helped us by beating the Falcons. In fact even if the Redskins would have beat the Ravens the Cowboys would still only need to win their next 3 games to get into the playoffs. If the Redskins would have won they would be 8-5 with us and we both beat eachother one time. The next tie-breaker is who has the better division record. The Cowboys are 2-2 in the division and the Redskins are 2-3 in the division. So the best division record that the Redskins can get is 3-3. So if the Cowboys win their next 3 games they would be 4-2 in the division winning the tie-breaker over the Redskins. But the Redskins lost today and that makes it even better.

The Cowboys might can get in if they don't win their next 3 games, but it might be hard. The Eagles are a half game behind us and we have to play them on December 28th. Also the Bears and the Saints are now a game behind us.

Matt Cassell's father passed away. Matt has left the team and his return, at this time, is uncertain.
