Well, when it opens at DCA, we can point at them and say "Ha, enjoy your new exclusive ride while you can DCA, we get it next fall!" "You don't get our mine train ride!"

I can't wait until a few years from now when everyone is complaining that half of the animatronics in the "Under the Sea" scene no longer work.

Should be some fun times around here!

If there is nothing at the time you can say negitive, just make something up that will be negitive in three years!

And when you say that, all 20 Million people in Southern California will gather in a massive Skype video call and say "Ha, enjoy your new exclusive mine train ride, Shanghai gets it in a couple years, but you don't get our Cars Land 12 acre expansion that we get next spring!" :D

Two can always play at that fun game, but it's best to not play it with a Californian right now. Maybe try it with a Parisian instead?

Yeah, we'll have to wait until the end of the decade for that.

Personally, I can't wait to go to both the new FLE and Car's Land.

We should get a version of the Cars ride to replace the backlot tour at DHS, but I agree it won't be for a long while.

Theming and ride technology aside, I'm really not interested in Carsland. :/ Myself and a lot of other movie enthusiasts agree that it's Pixar's weakest movie. I'd like to see a different Disney movie get an entire land.

Agreed. I think it would be unique if each Disney park would have a different Pixar land.

Disneyland Cali- CarsLand
Disneyland Paris - Toy Story Land
Hong Kong - Bug's Life
Tokyo - Wall-E (the technology there would be amazing for it)
Shanghai - Finding Nemo
Disney World - Monster's Inc.

Of course you would still have Ratatouille, The Incredibles and Up!

But with that you could always wait for the next three Pixar films to come out and then announce the next six lands in each park.

I'm very glad Ariel is getting her own land/ride. It's been long overdue and hopefully we get more themeing like this with future attractions (i.e. Prince Eric's castle).

Right after we get Indiana Jones Adventure, right?

My understanding on Carsland is that DCA will have a 5 year exclusivity period. At that point I would speculate that portions of it will start to find it's way around the world.

The problem is the cost is astronomical for Radiator Springs Racers, and that's what everyone would be expecting.

It's hard to believe that Disney would be foolish enough to build a miniParis when the real thing is only a half hour train ride away.

I thought they learned that lesson the hard way?

Then again, the Ratatouille ride is apparently of much higher quality than practically anything from opening day DCA; this shouldn't prove much of a problem, if any.
