Agreed. I think it would be unique if each Disney park would have a different Pixar land.
Disneyland Cali- CarsLand
Disneyland Paris - Toy Story Land
Hong Kong - Bug's Life
Tokyo - Wall-E (the technology there would be amazing for it)
Shanghai - Finding Nemo
Disney World - Monster's Inc.
Of course you would still have Ratatouille, The Incredibles and Up!
But with that you could always wait for the next three Pixar films to come out and then announce the next six lands in each park.
I'm very glad Ariel is getting her own land/ride. It's been long overdue and hopefully we get more themeing like this with future attractions (i.e. Prince Eric's castle).
I really wish they would expand Pixar Place. Its more like Toy Story Land now, and as much as I love Toy Story, I want to see more of the Pixar franchises find their happy home here. What if WDW got like a pot luck of all of these in Pixar Place? So, we get Radiator Springs Racers from DCA, the Ratatouille ride from Paris, and other rides from the others. So instead of having a land based around one Pixar movie, we have a great land based around all the pixar movies.

I don't see how this could be a bad thing, unless it means the end of The Tower, RnR and Star Wars in the park.I think that would work. But soon I think you would have to change the name of the park from Hollywood Studios to Pixar Studios.

This. :sohappy:I really wish they would expand Pixar Place. Its more like Toy Story Land now, and as much as I love Toy Story, I want to see more of the Pixar franchises find their happy home here.

Not this. :fork:I don't see how this could be a bad thing, unless it means the end of The Tower, RnR and Star Wars in the park.
I've heard two different names for the Ariel attraction, can someone confirm what it's actually going to be called?
I've heard:
The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure
Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid
Is the top one for DCA and the bottom for the Magic Kingdom?
Is Luxo jr still in DHS?

They stopped showing it middle of last year, not sure if it ever came back.
Yes, I believe so. The top one has been used repeatedly for the DCA version in the Blue Sky Cellar exhibits. And the bottom title was used in the most recent WDW press event.
Fascinating info you had by the way about the "exclusivity period" for Cars Land and Radiator Springs Racers. I would think they could still use the flying saucer ride system of Luigi's Flying Tires for some other theme thought, most obviously for a Tomorrowland attraction around the world. Or is the "exclusivity" also restricted to the ride systems?
Lighting will work wonders.
