Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

They really should go back to the Dream Port idea and turn the entire pavilion into The Dreamport. Bring back Dreamfinder, redo the original ride to place him back into the story, then have a series of additional attractions. not so much a pavilion as an entire miniland... The Main Imagination ride, a thrill ride of some sort, a spinner, a walk-through fun house type attraction...a whole collection of things all themed to Imagination and dreams... A restaurant with unusual and imaginitive snacks would be great addition...Make it the absolute standout of the park... The Dreamfinder and Figment are a great IP that should really be leveraged, and to have a spectacular Steam punk pavilion Miniland themed around a repository of Dreams with multiple attractions would satisfy the need for things that younger children and adults would love...

Inside and out was made for the imagination pavilion. I wonder if they have space to expand the imagination pavilion as a whole, and include an extension for an inside out dark ride ?

It NEVER was "Made" for it :banghead:. Cranium Command was intended after the attraction closed down....If it was done I made a concept on how that would have worked..

HUGE DISCOVERY/DECADES LONG SEARCH MADE fellow Journey Into Imagination fans.. the Walt Disney Animation Studios Florida animators behind the Mirage activity animations done in the early 90s for ImageWorks. 🙌🏻 God Bless Tom Bancroft (original designer & animator of Mushu from Mulan) for sending me this info
(Btw, just wanna clarify also. Dave Michener (co/director on The Great Mouse Detective) was the guy behind the earlier ‘83 animations in the Realm of Science scene with Figment jumping & twirling around). Those were done in Burbank):

This is a real concern of mine. With their current thinking I can see them doing this. The only thing that might stop them is the popularity Figment (as awful as current figment is) has garnered in recent years. They make a lot of money on sales from Figment stuff.

I would love to see Inside Out in the park and WoL is vacant...
Bring back the good Figment and Dreamfinder, utilize WoL, and make Epcot fun again.

Figment has always been popular mainly due to Guests that remember the Original Attraction.
There is a connection there, today I would call it ‘nostalgic connection’ since most of us who experienced the Original in person are getting up in years.
But the appeal is knowing the character from the Original.
There is NO appeal whatsoever to the current annoying incarnation.

Figment merch sells because of the past connection.

Figment sells merch because he's a cute character and kids love him. I also think there's a sort of hivemind thing going on with how people see liking the character as trendy, so they buy the merch so they look trendy. Y'all are kidding yourselves if you think Figment's merchandising potential is being held up by a ride that closed over 25 years ago. The original attraction gave him a launch and kept the momentum up for a while, it's not a serious force for anything but throwback merch today.

All of that said, I do think having a good ride in that building would move more merchandise. More people would "get it".

It's always for the merch..If they even made Popcorn buckets of SMRT-1 SSE or a Kitchen Kabaret Sipper..It's all for the rarity and limit the guests can go for..

I'm surprised that they haven't used that same Figment Bucket mold for Halloween for Drac Figment or Santa Figment for Holiday season...Or one that will Just be Dreamfinder's Top Hat with Figment coming out of it...
