Oh I think the bubble segment is great. One of the best mashups of Disney songs you could ask for! I sometimes find myself humming the music from the bubble section! Pink Elephants is obscure and weird, and Disneyland's is worse because of that segment in my opinion.
To each his own! I’m not a fan, but certainly doesn’t make it bad by any stretch of the imagination.

Only thing I disliked was how they got rid of the cannon. They probably could’ve kept it if they started off the heroes segment with Aladdin.

Disney will be too afraid to change anything for the next 40 years because of the reaction to Enchantment and Harmonious

be careful what you wish for, everyone...

They're already axing Harmonious next year though. I just hope they take the right lessons from this - that this type of presentation is great - WHERE IT FITS.

I can’t really tell in the videos. But I think Elsa has a “magic” costume change during the big crescendo with the smoke blasting upwards in-front of her?
Elsa does indeed have a quick costume change. Her changed dress has the three diamonds on it (think the top part of the dress just drops down to reveal it). Also blue -> white transformation like in the movie?

IMO, F! 2.0 in Anaheim had good show with new high-tech projections, WOC-like fountains, and lasers, but have horrible song. I didn't like the reimagined soundtrack that feels rushed.

Gladly we keep the original song intact and have cheerful post-show music instead of bringing Imagination song from defunct TDS show here. At least, they are not attempt to bring clone of DL F! 2.0 music to DHS.

The part that could use some work is the morphing from one villain to the next. Audio is stretched out while the animation transitions from one villain to the next. I wish that could be tightened up.

It's a good thing DE is going away soon, otherwise we have two shows with the same exact Moana reprise segment (F! did it better since it replicates the feeling and visuals of that exact scene in the movie more imo).

The more I rewatch the new action sequence, the more I dig it. I would usually skip the Colonists scene up until John Smith swings and Pocahontas shows up to segway into the Princess melody, but now that whole new sequence keeps me watching. It could however use a Mickey (projection) transition to the Princess melody instead of Tink, but alas.

I would imagine this was only allowed because they knew DE wouldn’t stay.

It’s very ‘90s but I guess that makes it “classic” now. Due to the DE and Harm disaster, they changed as little as possible here.
It's a known quantity, I'll give you that. I have the audio track from a Fantasmic CD I bought years ago so that part, well, is noticeable to me. Listening to the audio only, it's very obvious the audio is synced to the villain transitions as the voices are very stretched out.

They should just used the footage from Disneyland as the transition cause now tinker-belle is in the show twice doing basically doing the same thing
