Fall for us in Magic Friends

I think that would be ideal to go right after Thanksgiving, but it won't work for me. I was thinking maybe even right after Christmas. That way I can convince family to give the kids money towards the trip instead of 4 billion MORE toys.

Just don't go the week between Christmas and New Years!

Not sure if you are interested in the Food & Wine Festival, but that is mainly why we chose October. I believe it starts at the end of September and all through October.
We love it. And the crowds are normally very light. The attractions that are normally busy, are still busy, but not an insane like busy.

Nemo-- LOL! That is the week I was thinking of, so thank you for the heads up!
I still have to convince my husband that it is not insane to take an (almost) 4 and (almost) 3 year old to Disney.

The week between Christmas and New Years? That's the most crowded week of the year!

Hello everyone!

Hi disneylawyer, I'm Jenny. I agree with Betty (Nemo14). I've heard the parks close at full capacity during the week between Cmas and New Year's. If budget is an issue, I would focus on value season rates. Disney's site will be able to tell you when those are. Another great site, other than WDWMagic, is allearsnet.com. They have every possible detail, including menus, and I remember an article on tips with preschoolers.
Hope this helps!

Hi.
Disnyelawyer, I'm Dot.
Nice to meet you.

I can tell you the week before Christmas is a good time to go if you want to go during the Christmas season. Not as crowded as Christmas week.
I highly recommend the last week of October. Perfect weather. . .low crowds.
The end of April is also a good time.

Hi everyone!!
Hi, I am bumping in mid-conversation, but I would say do not go the week of Thanksgiving either , it is very crowded! As for the ages.. my DS was 3 1/2 his first trip and DD a few years later was 2, I would not take anything for the memories, they are sooo cute at that age with the characters!

I'll have to disagree and say Thanksgiving weekend is our favorite time to go. Crowds are manageable, weather is great, and Christmas stuff is up.

The end :lookaroun

Hope all of you are well

Hi Regina!
I know a lot of people who go at that time, even having Thanksgiving dinner there. They all love it!

Hi Jen!
I'm glad you were able to decipher that I meant the last week of October! :hammer: :D
I was typing on the run!

And it is, indeed, the perfect the time to go!

I didn't even catch that you typed 'year' . I was just over on 'the oddest thing you pack' thread, and now I want to disinfect the hotel room when we go. I started filling a tub upstairs with stuff for the Disney trip - I've been working on my bedroom. :hammer: :hammer:

Then I will step aside and and say maybe you know more, my only experience was 2000, we arrived the day before and it was terrible, Mk shut down on Thanksgiving Day at like 9:30 am, I won't do it again! Even MGM & DAK were crowded (but we had went before the first week of November, which was no crowds) Our other trips have been February, after Presidents Week, great! and Aug 31 - Sep 9th!)
