Most of the behind the scenes pictures were taken in the backyard of our neighbors/friends. I did break a few rules, but for the most part I stayed out of the way. Just for note, these pictures are actually of the back of the house. The front has massive crowds, and they're keeping them very far away, so I only took a few front-view shots.

Ohhhh. Gotcha. So there's no pesky fence between your neighbor's house and the orphans' house?

That's convenient

Now, allow me to tease everyone and not show anymore house photos yet. :D :lookaroun

Going up to the front yard I felt like a celebrity!
I was inside the barrier!
Take that, other people!

I felt obligated to take plenty of shots of this thing:

And another...

And one more, for good measure:

There's that truck again...

I see this guy is "supervising"

I don't want to give away the rest of the report, but after Ty showed up they really tightened security...

Well, Mr. Supervisor, you have some interesting things in there...

...

All right, all right!
I'm out of the way. :lookaroun

HaHA! You're not special enough to be where I am!

Hey, you slackers!
Get back to work!

That's more like it...

Well, I'm not sure how much else I'll be able to get done today, but while I'm here I'll mention the developments since yesterday.

After I left the site around 3:00PM they were working on hoisting the roof sections up by crane, and by nightfall work had begun on roofing. From what I can tell most of the shingling work is now complete. "How do they manage this so fast?" you may ask; well, this project is working 24 hours a day. (According to a security guard) Most workers are on eight hours shifts, after which they are bussed away and off the site. Where they take them, I have no idea.:lookaroun

Why's everyone standing around?
Get back to work!

You know, there was nothing wrong with those wires before you touched them...

Are you even old enough to be here?
Go back home and play with your X-Box, like normal kids!

I wonder where I can get one of those shirts...

Hey look! The three stooges are making a comeback!

Uh oh...

One crashing sound later...

Great job Connor. So, have the TV cameras caught you in the act of reporting the news?
(can we expect to see you being hauled/chased away on the TV show?)

He's got a point, Connor - in a couple of those shots, some of the crew were looking STRAIGHT AT YOU...:lookaroun

Thanks for the report, Connor - keep up the good work! :sohappy:
