Yen_sid you rock!!

But what i keep wondering is you keep using the word "fast"...that makes me wondering what a yeti can do if its standing still. Jumping around? Swinging its arms? Opening and closing its mouth? None of these make me think it could break floor bolts. SOOOO that makes me think it might move. Maybe like in Dinosaur when the dino is chasing you. But seriously guys, if its breaking "huge" bolts anchored into the floor, then what's it doing just standing still? C'mon guys lets rack our brains...

I was under the impression that the yet would kind of quickly bend over and swing his arm in an attempt to grab the train.

Hmmmm, i havent ever heard that. I heard that he'd be in the big room all the way at the other end with all the wind and snow. If you're correct that changes everything!

Can you help us out here Yen_sid?

He is (well...will be) in a large room inside the "building" part of the mountain.
He moves quite a bit, and will indeed take a swipe at your train. He won't be jumping all over tha place or anything, but he moves a LOT more than Harold at the Matterhorn, which is impressive considering the size difference.

Ditto what Yen_Sid said about the photos. I haven't been able to get hold of one. I saw some art quite a while ago... but it was sort of vague.

When WDI let co-workers into the sim building, they were greated by security screening for cameras, cell phones, pages, basically anything and everything that could conceal a camera or even looked like a electronic device/s. Then escorted in small groups to a viewing area. There they witnessed the complete Yeti profile, with lighting simulation. The Yeti has been a long project, and many on the team are glad this monstrosity will be in-place soon. He was a pain in the butt to at-least get anywhere near compliance, and yes, he did break the entire support system which then the team reassembled a new anchoring system. Hopefully, Everest will not be plagued with certain problems that the team already knows will arise if the park fails to maintain the thing. I am definitly looking towards the future, and what this project has accomplished in its own right. Even more stimulating, is Tony's robotic arm, which has been mentioned here on the boards I believe. That thing will surly rise the bar of attractions, and possibilities for future development.

Nothing gets my blood pumping like the show scene in Dinosaur where your rover looses traction and the dino starts chasing after you. If the Yeti does anything like that I will be very excited.

If my theory is correct, the railing we see in some pictures going up the lift hill on Everest can lower and raise like Primeval Whirl. In some pictures we see it, and some we don't. This would really help with the theming. Here in these pictures you can see it up, and then down in another. Questions, Comments?

hmmm, so if Harold is at DL, does his cousin have a nickname yet?

Yea i think the rails were only temporary with construction. Once the ride opens there definently wont be that ugly railing, it would ruin the theming.

If you look closely the rails are on the other side of the image you have two image on the top of one side and the other is of the other side there is only one side with railings
