My dad died of a brain tumor, and the last few weeks, he didn't "know" any of us anymore, which really hurt. Since his passing, though I have often felt his presence, and I know that he knows me and loves me.

my grandpa was the same way...when he had the stroke that ended up being the final straw they said that if we kept him alive, he wouldn't remember any of us again.
