Why don't they just use green screens and chroma key technology in special glasses so projectors and projection screens won't be required?

So they finally fixed the attractions page yesterday. Took 'em long enough.
Isn't it sad how much shorter and how much more uninteresting it is now?

Disney, fix the attraction and not the attraction's www page!

It IS extremely boring now. Before, guests probably actually wanted to visit Imageworks and when the page changed they said forget it.

Ah . . . I missed it! Anyway you can email it to me? Pretty please??

Well, the page really only changed in the text list, the images and the rest are unchanged, so here's the raw text:

  • Guests may remain in their wheelchair, motorized scooter or ECV to experience the attraction.
Except that it's wasn't.

I'll trust Martin and JediMaster any day, especially on the subject of JII. Solely just the restored Imageworks may not even be this year, but I get the sense that it's coming.

Ahahaha!

That contrast is sooooo stark...

It's almost like the real version is a parody, a joke, of the version that could be...

You guys do realize some info was literally pulled from sources like Wiki....right?

I'm not saying you shouldn't. They have info I don't, and vice versa.

You don't find it odd that I notify someone about this, and it's fixed a day later? And as for the sense it's coming, no offense to the prophet sayers, but anyone could say there's changes to come, and they'd be right eventually.

I don't see why they'd back date an entire pavilion. I'm sorry I just don't. They tried to appease the fanboys with this latest rendition, and failed. They aren't going to try it again.

The latest rendition was to appease the guest relations complaining guests; no fanboy would put his name to V3. That`s why they are trying again. Upstairs is already WDIs domain, and has been for a while. That`s why the glass elevator is cycling everyday again. The basics are tied down, but some minor details are shifting or being dropped. However it`ll be a long time until the full project is complete though.

The What If? Labbs list if farcical. Bubble Music... wrong name, and it has not existed for 18 years. Figs Coloring book replaced it - it didn`t co-exist. Lumia.... went in 1991. It`d be funny if it wern`t so sad.

It is sad.:(

But I'm quite thrilled that WDI has a "base" in there. Explains why I saw some WDI-ish looking folks poking around there last Aug.:D

I appreciate the faith--I only put information out from the people I trust, but that being said, I also trust Matt (mcjaco) and know that he is informed as well as I, if not moreso.

I've heard positive things for the pavilion for the future, but the date has always been up in the air.

As for the website information, I regret tipping my friend off about it, because it seems that the slip may have stirred up false hope. Half of the exhibits upstairs at the former Imageworks are laying in pieces while others have been out of operation for far too long. While the possibility for a re-opened upstairs remains, the concept of it coming back completely as it was before is unrealistic. If anything new ever comes to the upstairs, it will be just that: new. I'm still keeping positive about things, but my patience comes first.

I was able to visit the old upstairs Imageworks late on Monday night while showing another CM their detail area (thy were to check the area and clean any conference areas if used). While there are a couple of walls up in a certain area, no work is currently being done up there, nor are there any signs of work to come on that floor. :(

On a side note, the faded banners outside that flank the entrance to the ride were swapped out for fresh ones on Tuesday morning. The same thing was done at Test Track last week for the large printed banners on both sides of the canopy.

And really, everything downstairs is just reiterations of what was upstairs, just not in the dark, and not as well planned out. With the exception of the pin tables, the Rainbow Tunnel, and Dreamfinder's School of Drama (I was quite the cowboy back in the day).

I, like everyone else, would love to see upstairs open again, even if it's the current stuff just moved. That whole building was so happy, and light when the pyramids were allowed to do their job, which was let sunlight in. Which makes me wonder about costs of cooling?

If they never bring back the sencond floor could the rainbow tunnel be brought down stairs and be used as part of the exit. They could extend the exit and have you exit through the rainbow tunnel.
