seems like a good amount of pyro and it all feels very centrally focused and purposeful - not just booms for the sake of booms. Obviously how well the music mixes in and fits will be key, but promising so far

I was looking for that given the released information about the story/song selection. That’s the point where they are going for no dry eyes in the house.I can see they took influence from Illuminations and added 2 minutes of where there is no pyro
Wonderful first look!!! Every Epcot Spectacular has Quiet scenes with no Pyro so that doesn't shock me . Nice use of the Prim. Launches. Hopefully Epcot has a Plan B to use them from the center of WSL on Bad Weather Nights like ROE and not just cut them like Harm.....
I think we are lucky the seawall launches are still there. After a few misfires/wind issues over the years they have been edging towards the chopping block.

And there's always the moment of shock when someone who has never seen one of these shows before gets when some pyro launches off from right in front of them.

They're really going to cut it close with that central barge, aren't they?
I also couldn't imagine a Epcot show without perimeters. They are well worth the trouble.

Not even just the finale. The whole show had a pyro reduction. Very noticable during the UK segment.

They cut the exploding/floating sparklers from the "Peace on Earth" holiday tag just after one incident. One rogue sparkler flew towards a crowd of guests and landed in a planter. It was a shame it was never brought back during the remainder of its (final) run during that 2018 season.
So them having restraint at least for the perimeter launchers is encouraging. Plus they upgraded them during Harmonius's construction, so would be a waste to ditch them now.

Although it’s Disney music, it sounds like they went really heavy on the classical sound which I like. I’m happy if they met us half way that’s allot coming from them it really is

I’m struggling to hear the music even faintly but what I can see of the lights below the tree level it certainly looks to live up to its name. The visuals are probably going to be very impressive.

One little detail I liked about Illuminations was the short loud burst of pyro that would happen that would happen in the beginning and the Celebration segment of the show and there seems to be those types of burst throughout the show

Not sure what I expected, but it sorta feels like they only lesson they’re learning from Harmonius is not to keep the barges parked out during the day.

There are SO many white fireworks. I will reserve judgement until I see what’s going on down in the lagoon, but I’m a bit disappointed there aren’t more colors.
